1. Fire is detected activating theXVTMControl System (or the manual pullstation is actuated)... causing thecylinder valve to open.

2. Pressure stored in the cylinder propels

the wet chemical agent through thesystem piping and out of strategicallylocated nozzles. The Kidde WHDRSystem automatically shuts down thepower source to appliances removingthe heat.

3. The wet chemical agent knocks downflames quickly and forms a protectivelayer that suppresses fire and preventsfire re-ignition.

The Kidde WHDR system uses Kidde APCwet chemical agent, which extinguishesfire by:
