• KIC AGRO PRIVATE LIMITED has been promoted by the KIC Foods Group which is into the business of food processing and manufacturing of Food Products and Beverages. Currently, the Group has its own brand of Deep Fried and Extruded Snacks and Namkeens. The Company’s products are available in the market under the brand name of “LIPBITE”.

• The Company is presently operating under a Third Party Processing System at Dankuni, Hooghly, West Bengal with an agreement with Gee Pee Foods Pvt Ltd. It is because of non availability of infrastructural and technical facilities in the State of Orissa. In Eastern India only two Companies have this Facility i.e. Gee Pee Foods and Khisley India.



• The Company now wishes to put up its own manufacturing plant and bring in this technology to the State of Orissa. At Present, Orissa has a Market of Rs. 15 Crores and West Bengal has a market of 40 Crores AND Other States OF North East together have a market of 50 Crores. All the required Snacks and Namkeens are being imported into the States from Other States.

• The Company’s Biggest Strength comes from its Team which consists of Highly Technical CEO Mr. Vishal Mehta and its Marketing team headed by its Director Mr. Manish Narottam.In the past four months operation the Company has already achieved a target of around 2 crores. The Company’s market has been soundly developed and the demand for its products is increasing.


The Main Input or Raw Material of the Industry is Potatoes. The Company shall set up a R&D centre for testing the various varieties of Potato available and cultivating the same in the State of Orissa. For this, The Company shall tie-up with various NGO’s to reach out to the farmers of the State and increase the Potato Cultivation, so that Potatoes are not required to be imported from Other States and our State becomes Self Sufficient.
