About the Kiambu CountyTrak Survey

This is a syndicated CountyTrak Poll. CountryTrak is a syndicated County Performance

Index that was launched in 2015 to provide objective information on citizen’s perception

of the county governments and the elected leaders therein. CountyTrak is a product of

the Infotrak Poll . This particular survey was financed and conducted by Infotrak Research

and Consulting using Computer Assisted Telephone Interviews (CATI) through Infotrak’s

ICATi suite.

A sample of 1200 respondents were interviewed to represent the 2017 Kiambu county

projected adult population of 1240984. The sampling design translated into a margin of

error of -/+ 2.8 at 95% degree of confidence.

The sampling frame was designed to cover all the 12 sub counties and 60 wards of

Kiambu County and the sample split was guided by population proportionate to size as

stipulated in the 2009 Kenya Population & Housing Census.

Data was collected between 3rd -5th April 2017
