KEYRUS goes on the road as Business Objects key partner

    in its mid-market conquest strategy________________________________________________________________

Paris, 7th March 2007 KEYRUS, a major international player in decision information systems consultancyand integration and Business Objects top VAR Platinum Partner for three years in succession, announced that ithad been selected by the publisher to provide it with active support with the launch of Business Objects CrystalDecisions, its new product line meeting mid-market companies reporting and analysis needs. KEYRUS will

be accompanying Business Objects on its tour of seven major French cities presenting the new offering, whichwill take place from 8th March to 24th April 2007.*

Mid-market companies, like major accounts a few years ago, have increasing needs in terms of reporting

solutions and management indicators to manage their business efficiently, says Florence Caillat, marketingdirector of Absys Cyborg, a KEYRUS subsidiary that has specialised in the French mid-market segment formore than twenty years. With its proven experience of this market segment (currently more than six thousandactive clients), the group, via its subsidiary, has been alerting its mid-market clients since the year 2000 to the

benefits of using business intelligence solutions adapted to the specific characteristics of their market to optimiseperformance. Although SMEs were initially a little nervous about these solutions, the relevance of business

intelligence for their market is now unquestioned, as shown by the increasing number of decision projectsconducted successfully over recent years. Many SMEs have already taken the first step, e.g. by combining theirexisting ERP systems with business intelligence solutions in order to make the best use of the data in theirsoftware by acquiring tools enabling them to manage their businesses strategically. As the French market leaderin ERP and business intelligence solutions consultancy and integration, KEYRUS helps medium-sized

businesses to define relevant and personalised business and management indicators and to choose and implementeffective management tools. Another advantage for this market segment is that decision projects can beimplemented in just a few days in SMEs, whereas a business intelligence project in a large corporation takesseveral months.

The new Business Objects Crystal Decisions range, designed for companies generating annual turnover of lessthan $1 billion or employing fewer than 2,500 people, confirms the relevance of this approach and will providemid-market companies with a packaged offering including all the components that have made BusinessObjects

Entreprise so successful, at rates tailored to mid-market companies. Exploiting a companys information capitalrequires business intelligence tools, explains Jean-Michel Jurbert, EMEA Mid-Market Product Manager atBusiness Objects. Our approach has been to retain just the key components and give the priority to userautonomy through integration with Office tools, with the possibility of integrating dynamic data and thereby

creating dynamic management indicators that can be used for simulations, all using the Web platform from

Crystal, which is also the basis of BusinessObjects XI. The Business Objects SME range will be completed inthe next few months with two premium versions, one including the Data Integrator solution and the otherintegrating score card and metric capacities.

KEYRUS, backing up Business Objects mid-market strategy

As a major Business Objects ally since 1998, top VAR platinum partner, licensed training centre and, morerecently, the first partner to be certified for the BusinessObjects Release 2 platform, KEYRUS is the natural

partner to provide effective backup for the launch of Business Objects Crystal Decisions via its many regionalbranches, notably in Lyons, Marseilles, Lille, Nantes, Rennes, Strasbourg and Toulouse. The partnership withBusiness Objects is globally strategic for KEYRUS. We are putting together joint development plans in France,

We will be accompanying Business Objects around all theregions to back up the launch of Business Objects Crystal Decisions. This is an opportunity to reinforce our

relationship and offer our clients comprehensive business intelligence solutions integrating licences,

consultancy, training and maintenance. KEYRUS will be one of the partners enabling us to increase ourpresence in the middle market, adds Jean-Michel Jurbert. KEYRUS is a special partner because, with its local

contacts with SMEs in the regions and its organisation dedicated to this market segment, it is particularly wellpositioned to help us deploy our new solutions.
