Thursday 8 September Gala evening Tropical Island Dinner – McLarens Landing The highlight in the Educate Plus International Conference social program! This exclusive event will introduce delegates to one of Australia’s natural wonders. South Stradbroke Island (“South Straddie” to the locals) is a largely uninhabited island covered in subtropical forest on the northern edge of the Gold Coast. Here delegates will feel like privileged castaways living a life of bliss in the “land of milk and honey”.

Traffic Light Indicator To ensure delegates are able to select the most appropriate session for their experience, the final program content will be coded for skill and knowledge level:
Sessions Each stream comprises a substantial line-up of expert speakers from local, national and international institutions and organisations, providing knowledge, insights and expertise on a broad range of topics relevant to each area.

Breakfast Blitz: Award-Winning Case Studies (8 Sept)
This year each of the finalists in the Awards Program will be offered a complimentary TEDx public speaking training session, either on the Tuesday before the Conference or by correspondence in the preceding month. They will then be invited to speak for 5 minutes on their program of excellence during a complimentary coffee and muffin breakfast session on the Thursday.
This will be followed by the Awards Lunch later in the day, at which the category winners will be announced.
