6. Refer to Optipay™ RC Installation Guide (JCM Part No. 960-000107R Rev. 3 or greater) to insure proper installation steps.
7. Interconnect the DBV-301 Bill Vali-dator’s Communications Harness to the Optipay™ RC (See Figure 5).
8. Install the kit supplied Gasket onto the four (4) mounting studs at the Bill Validator Port opening in the frame (See Figure 6).

PTIPAY™ BV/RC INSTALLATION STEPSse the following steps to install a combined RC-10/DBV-301 unit into a Vendo 20/721 or 820/821 Dr Pepper® Vending Machine:
1. Remove power to the Vending Machine.2. Use the 11/32 inch Deep Well Nut Driver to remove the four (4) 11/32 inch nuts
securing the existing Bill Validator and remove it from the Vending Machine.3. Peel the insulating foam strip back out of the way to access the rivet heads secur-
ing the old Bill Validator’s area cover door (See Figure 2 a), and drill out the four (4) rivets securing the cover to the frame using the 1/8" drill bit (See Figure 2 b). Discard the removed cover in an environmentally safe manner.
4. Use the cutting disk to remove the upper flange from the door frame (See Figure 3 a). Follow the door frame edge as a cutting guide. Discard the flange and file rough edges and burrs off the door frame (See Figure 3 b).

CASH BOXWhen the Recycler is not used, slide thwhite release tab located on top of the DBV-301 forward (See Figure 16) andpull the Cash Box up and out to removit.
SENSOR MODULETo remove the Sensor Module, press up[1] on the release rod locking bar and pull the module outward [2] from the frame (See Figure 17).

PTIPAY™ CC INSTALLATION STEPS1. Remove the existing Coin Changer and install the Optipay™ Coin Changer into
the machine where the previous Coin Changer existed (See Figure 12).2. Attach the RC-10 Communications Extension Harness Cable to the end of the
A-66 4-pin Molex Communications Connector (See Figure 13).
3. Route the A-66/RC-10 Communications Cable Extension up the right side of the DBV-301 and across the RC-10 and connect its 4-pin Molex Communications Connector into the Optipay™ RC mating receptacle (See Figure 14).
4. Connect the 6-pin Molex Optipay™ CC Communications Connector into the mating Optipay™ inline MDB Harness Connector (See Figure 15 a).
5. Connect the Vending Machine’s multi-pin MDB Harness Molex Communica-tions Connector into the mating Optipay™ inline connector (See Figure 15 b).

9. Install the combined DBV-301/RC-1the Gasket and secure it in place usisupplied in the kit (See Figure 7). ObInstructions described on page 4.

he DBV-301 Bottle Mask must be mounted flush to the door surface on top of e kit supplied Gasket (Review Figure 7) without interference as illustrated in igure 9 a. Tighten the four mounting nuts in the order illustrated in Figure 9 b.
Caution: Turn the equipment power OFF before removing or replacing any components.
Caution: Tighten mounting nuts until snug. DO NOT Over tighten.
