Candidates achieving a Pass with Distinction (between 140 and 150on the Cambridge English Scale) receive the Key English Testcertificate stating that they have demonstrated ability at Level B1.Candidates achieving Pass with Merit or Pass (between 120 and 139on the Cambridge English Scale) receive the Key English Testcertificate at Level A2.

Candidates whose performance is below Level A2, but falls withinLevel A1 (between 100 and 119 on the Cambridge English Scale),receive a Cambridge English certificate stating that they havedemonstrated ability at Level A1.
