KETOROLACThe primaryactionresponsible for ketorolac's anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic effects is the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis by competitive blocking of theenzymecyclo-oxygenase(COX). Ketorolac is a non-selective COX inhibitor.Short term management of moderate to severe post-op painKetorolac iscontraindicatedin patients with a previously demonstrated hypersensitivityto ketorolac, and in patients with the complete or partial syndrome ofnasal polyps,angioedema, bronchospasticreactivity or other allergic manifestations to aspirin or other non-steroidalanti-inflammatory drugs (due to possibility of severeanaphylaxis. A post-marketing surveillance study[]indicated a dose-response relationship with average daily dose for both gastrointestinal bleeding and operative site bleeding, and an association between gastrointestinal bleeding and therapy for more than five days.Allergic reactions (anaphylactoid reactions, asthma, bronchospasmFluid retention and edema have been reported with the use of ketorolac.Observe patient , Medication may make patient drowsy or dizzy .Insure about the safe use of alcohol while taking ketorolac.

Store the medicine at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture .Throw away any medication that is out dated or no longer needed .
