Within this letter I would like to express my motivations of receiving your kind scholarship. A scholarship to me is a demonstration of someone’s belief in another. It is a door that opens inspirations,creations, dreams, actions, and leadership. Scholarships to me are not just financial helping means, but powers that allow a person to bloom and grow into new heights and to cross new boundaries.

First of all, education to me is the greatest tool to make a student to lead within the social world. Education is a great honor for me and a superb form for me to share knowledge, ideas, and teachings toothers. This scholarship opens the impossible to become possible for me. The word impossible is not existent to my beliefs of what my future will become. I strive to conquer the impossible. With a scholarship this becomes reality at many levels. A reality I believe will become triumphant for me in new scholastic ideas, new forms of philosophy, and new creative aims to lead others. I strive to lead in a direction of inspirational movement. I strive to become stronger mentally and to open my mind to new horizons. I strive to cross new bridges that will connect many others to new worlds of possibility.

The scholarship is going to provide me the education which I have always desired to have, yet I have not been able to, due to the conditions of Turkish education system. In my country, a student has to choose a path based on only regarding his or her future financially. After my high school education, I was forced to do that very thing but I decided to study American Culture and Literature in Dokuz Eylul University which is one of the best departments in terms of its education and professors. Despite its great aspects and the knowledge I got, my main dream has always been to study music with freedom ofthe mind and no limitations of creativity and aesthetics. This scholarship is going to combine what l have learned about American education with my ideas and potential.

In Turkey, I have already experienced the hardships of creativeness and following your dreams which have contributed to my character, yet what I am concerned now is my career.

I see myself leading others to know and learn the gifts of greatness a scholarship can provide to a student and persons. From all the education that your scholarship will allow me to experience, I plan a goal to share with the world that your scholarship allowed me to become a ground breaker and mentor. Your scholarship is my path to reach the highest mountains, sore to the highest levels of strength, and to reach a across oceans to others who one day will follow in my footsteps in education. I am a true believer that your scholarship will give me the gift of knowledge. A gift that can never be taken for granted. You scholarship will become my very motivation to conquer, explore, reach, and share with world communities.
