About Kefeng

stablished in Shanghai, China in 2003, Shanghai Kefeng has been a leading provider of valve parts & high alloy materials. Kefeng

specializes in producing and machining various valve parts such as valve ball, valve seat, valve stem and centrifugal casting alloy tube and ring. The expertise and know-how acquired over the years coupled with the continued investments in development of high alloy applications, have made Kefeng become one of the best-known manufacturers in producing corrosion resistant and heat resistant alloy valve parts in China.

Kefeng is a specialized valve parts machining center. We are able to machine valve parts according to customers’ drawings and inspect dimensions with a high precision. Equipped with fully automated and advanced machining facilities, we are able to supply float ball, trunnion ball, three way ball, L type ball, T type ball, V type ball, long stem ball, metal seated ball & seat ring and other valve parts in size ranging from 1/2 inch to 24 inches. The plentiful experiences in handling with high alloy products, has enabled us to avoid the problems of sticking and fracture in process of machining high alloy material. To keep our fully machined products perfectly meet the requirements of the drawing, the CMM probe and specialized ball roundness tester are adopted in the plant.

E Kefeng is a professional stainless steel and high alloy material manufacturer. We are able to provide customers with a wide range of materials in accordance with international and domestic standards such as ASTM, DIN, EN, NACE, API, GB, JIS, etc. The main materials supplied include Austenitic Stainless Steel, Super Austenitic Alloy, Duplex Alloy, Nickel Base Alloy, Precipitation Hardening Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Cobalt Base Alloy and Cooper Alloy. Kefeng’s comprehensive knowledge of the high alloy application and certified heat treatment facilities ensure the raw materials produced with superior mechanical property and corrosion resistance performance. Meanwhile, we have full set of testing instruments such as alloy analyzer, universal materials tester, low temperature impact tester, hardness tester, 1000 times optical microscope, corrosion test instruments and multiple NDT test detector imported from USA and Germany.

Kefeng combine raw material manufacturing and products machining in two plants to offer clients’ one-stop service. Kefeng’s Plant 1 is the main factory occupying 15,000 m². This Plant is fully equipped with advanced machining facilities such as CNC lathe, CNC center, CNC ball grinding machine, CNC seat grinding machine, Automatic ball polishing machine, Automatic Lapping machine for metal seated ball, etc. Kefeng can provide valve components in size ranging from 1/2 inch to 24 inches. A wide range of forging and casting

K materials are in our scope including Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel and special Alloy, etc. For the complete service, Kefeng offer extensive facilities for Metal Seated Ball and Seat Package, Special Alloy Overlay service, ENP & HVOF treatment. Besides, Kefeng have developed a specialized producing line of centrifugal casting for all types of balls, rings and tubes in the factory.

The Plant II is newly constructed and Kefeng’s next strategy in plant II is establishing a manufacturing roofline of 8,000 m2 and state-of-the-art machining and testing equipment. A set of world class advanced facilities will be set up including vertical CNC, valve seat grinding machine, SMG ball grinding machine, 3D laser scanning and non-dust laboratory.

1. High-tech ball and seat ring grinding machines are offered to achieve accurate tolerances and good surface finish - cost-effectively.

2. Match grinding between ball sphere and seat with special technique, tailor-made grinding facilities to ensure the best leak-proof performance.

3. Hardening Treatment by HVOF and spray with a Tungsten Carbide, Chrome Carbide, Stellite and Nickel base material.

Centrifugal Casting Option

Acc. to PED 97/23/EC Kefeng Specialize in centrifugal casting for Duplex, Monel, Inconel, Incoloy, Stellite and other high alloy material.

Centrifugal Casting is a Casting process using a metal die which spins at high speed. Once the molten metal is in the die, the centrifugal force shapes the solidifying steel to the structure of the mould.

3. Cost saving.The machining margin of blank Ball and Seat will be dramatically reduced by using centrifugal casting compared to forging. As well, it is a much more flexible and economical way for buyers when they require some small quantity procurement scheme.

Centrifugal casting is an excellent option for handling with spherical and ring-shaped components in high alloy and nickel base alloy which are difficult to forge within a narrow forgeable temperature.

4. Superior Performance. The centrifugal force increases feeding during solidifi-cation and improve the density of the casting. There-fore the centrifugal casting has an excellent mechanical property.
