The Wisconsin Safety Council was founded in 1923 with the mission of saving the lives of Wisconsin workers. WSC is the state’s leading provider of safety training and programming. We are the reason more people come home safely from manufacturing plants, offices, and construction sites every day. WSC is an educational

division of WMC, which is the Wisconsin manufacturers’ association and the state chamber of commerce.

The Wisconsin Safety Council is proud to be the official state chapter of the National Safety Council. Whether starting from scratch or updating an existing safety program, WSC can provide you with access to all the resources you need to prevent injuries, costly claims, increase productivity, and stay competitive.

“The Wisconsin Safety Council provides many learning opportunities on topics that relate to my safety role and the industry in which I work. I have worked for my current employer for over 15 years; however, I only entered the Safety field about five years ago. During the past five years, I have attended the annual safety conferences in the Dells and achieved my Advanced Safety Certification. The courses offered have definitely improved my safety knowledge and skills. What has impressed me the most is the application of the course work directly correlates to improvement of employee safety at my workplace.”

“The staff at the Wisconsin Safety Council has done a fantastic job of growing & improving their Annual Safety & Health Conference. We have attended the Monday Professional Development Classes for the last several years. We have taken away many valuable ideas that have improved our worksite from that training. As previous winners of the Corporate Safety Award, we can attest that the Wisconsin Safety Council’s conference is second to none. It’s amazing the amount of networking that happens during the breaks with vendors, instructors and attendees. This type of interaction is invaluable. No matter what business you are in, we all suffer from similar issues. Our safety program and the morale of our worksite has been positively impacted by our participation in Wisconsin Safety Council activities.”

“I have been looking for a “good” worker’s compensation seminar since I stepped into the world of safety several years ago... I sat through the best WC seminar I’ve ever seen. This was honestly what I’ve been looking for. This seminar was very well taught by [presenters]. This seminar has the perfect level of content for all levels of WC knowledge. I feel that whether you’ve never dealt with WC or are a seasoned veteran; this symposium has something for everyone. The Workers Compensation Law Handbook that comes with the course is fantastic... Thank you so much for being such a fantastic example and champion of safety for Wisconsin!!”
