30th October 2015 To whom it may concern,  I recently attended an open day at the Vale Brothers factory (25th October) and in our goody bag was one of your brushes. Whilst the research was explained, and the science is solid, I remained sceptical. My Mother thought I was insane on explaining the brush!  So 3 guinea pigs (1 horse with mud fever on his heels, another with a scabby muzzle, and myself, eczema type skin condition on the back of my hands). My hands, I've had eczema present for the whole of this year, 5 days later, quick flick once a day and it's gone! My horses heels are healed faster than we would have thought possible, the hair re‐growing already and the skin has calmed down. My other horses muzzle too, the skin is just less aggravated and is healing really well.   We had our vet out earlier this week to assist with clipping one of our horses and mentioned the brush to him too, he was fascinated by it. I handed him over the information we'd been given and he trotted off to do some further research as he's often being asked by clients for a products such as yours.    Whilst you're obviously aware of the qualities of your product, I just wanted to write a thank you for the brush and to say it really does work!  I do have one question, how often should I be rinsing the brush out with warm water and letting it dry to keep it clean?   Kind regards,  Caroline Brougham

Leaf, a three-year-old Welsh Section D gelding, suffered a fracture to his facial cheek bone whilst out in the field. This possibly led to an abscess inside his mouth and subsequent blood tests revealed a low White Blood Cell count. During this time, whilst his body’s natural defences were down, Leaf contracted lice. The vet prescribed a delousing treatment and Jude was advised to brush him the next day. Jude had recently been recommended KBF99 grooming brushes so decided to test them out. Said Jude: “I used the KBF99 Dandy Brush on Leaf’s winter coat after he was treated for lice and it was incredible! The lice seemed to stick to the brush, almost as though they were magnetized, I could literally see the lice being drawn out of his coat. By the time I had finished, his flat, dull coat was smooth and soft. I used the brush to remove all of the dead and living lice and I am pleased to say they have not returned since.” Jude also owns, Woody, a Welsh Section A, nine-year-old gelding who has Cushings disease and a very itchy, scurfy coat. After the success with Leaf’s coat, Jude decided she would brush one side of Woody with the KBF99 Dandy Brush and the other side with a standard grooming brush to see if it made a noticeable difference. Said Jude: “Woody is generally itchy all year round and has a lot of scurf, so I decided to just do one side of him with the KBF99 Dandy Brush to do a 'go compare’. Before After KBF99 Brushes Erika Clarkson keeps her horse on a farm in Staffordshire which raises beef cattle. A fan of KBF99 brushes, which kill bacteria and fungus, Erika decided to use them on a calf that was suffering with severe dermatitis.

Said Erika: “The calves are housed in barns for the first few months of their lives, for ease of feeding up, then they are turned out to pasture.

“I love befriending the calves when they're in the barns and so always notice when they have a problem, and this particular heifer calf (who I call Magpie) was affected by itchy skin on her face, ears, neck and back. She is kept with two other calves that have not been affected at all. “Magpie was rubbing herself raw on anything she could find; mainly the feed trough and the bars of the gate. She was also using her back feet to scratch her head. As a result she lost a lot of hair from all these regions and was very red on the bald areas of her face and ears and also where the horn buds were. There was some scurf in her coat and the hair of her coat felt very dry. “Unfortunately there was no diagnosis or treatment for her due the high cost of treating farm animals and because it didn’t appear to affect either of the other two calves in regular contact with her.

“I already used the KBF99 brushes on my horse and decided to give them a try on Magpie. I used the brushes about six times in all, over a two week period. Each time I brushed her completely over her face, ears, down her neck and across her whole back for about one minute. She was a bit fidgety about being brushed on the face (understandably because some patches were right by her eyes) but she loved it on her back and neck. “After about a week I could see the skin on her face was light pink rather than reddish, but it was still redder on her ears. I didn’t see her scratch again but I wasn’t

observing her for long each time. However, because her skin was no longer red I could safely assume she was not scratching those areas at all and there were no new areas appearing. “After another week I could see fine down on her face which was now a normal pink colour. A week or so later the bald areas on her ears were a normal pink and the hair was growing back on her face and around her horn buds. “It was hard to tell when the hair started to grow back on her shoulders because she isn’t good at standing still and the hair/skin on her back and neck is dark. However, with help and food bribery I have stilled her long enough to notice that the bald patches on her neck have fully grown back now (approximately five weeks later). Magpie is shown below with filled in facial areas, ears slower to grow back but are completely recovered in fur now:

Nor did either of the other calves develop this skin complaint. “The calves often develop minor problems, most of which disappear without any intervention. KBF99 hoof brush has really made a big difference for my horse with Thrush. My horse Indian has unfortunately had Thrush on several hooves for a long period. When I first heard about KBF99 brushes I thought it sounded too good to be true, but had to try it. After having brushed his hooves just for a week, twice a day, they stopped smelling and seemed much drier. I have no doubt that KBF99 hoof brush has had an effect on Indians Thrush infection and am very excited about what his farrier will say next time he needs new shoes. I have actually been so happy with KBF99 hoof brush I also have started using KBF99 body brush. My horse now has far less scurf and his hair has generally been much more polished after only a few times of use. Amy Yeldham I bought my brushes at Mill Saddlery in Suffolk and I now won't use anything else, the difference in the horses coat is self evident and I used the brushes on the leg area and it’s completely free from mud fever truly amazing Hi KBF99,  Thought I would drop you a quick email with some photos of my boys after being lucky enough to be given some brushes that were won in your Facebook competition. I got the Dandy and Body Brush (in pretty pink!) and after being a bit sceptical about the brushes as they seemed to good to be true, I have been proved wrong!  The brushes are really good quality and hardwearing; the dandy brush is amazing at getting the encrusted mud off them and the body brush seems to make stains vanish from my grey! I’ve never had any skin problems with either of mine so can’t comment on that aspect, however I have noticed such an improvement in coat quality since using them (about two months) – everyone comments how silky they both are to touch! The body brush is also the perfect brush for putting quarter markings on as well – great for the forthcoming show season.  I am now trying to decide what other brushes to add to the collection...my aim is for the whole set to be KBF99 kit!  Kind regards,

Clio had severe allergies to cotton, some pollens and dust which meant we had to keep her coat and surroundings very clean. As she was an event horse I couldn’t risk a major allergic flare up as this would have required steroid treatment which is banned under competition rules. I have a show cob who has always suffered with mallanders (greasy knee) on her front legs, one being particularly bad. I have tried different methods to no avail and struggled with her even allowing me to get near her leg to try and treat it. I was recommended KBF99 brushes by a few people on Facebook so purchased two brushes just over four weeks ago. I have been brushing her legs daily and noticed gradual changes with the scabs seeming to change initially, then gradually loosen.

Tonight has been the biggest development and I'm over the moon. One leg is 90% clear and her bad leg a good 75% clear! I can see skin and the scabs are coming off really well. I've battled with this issue on and off for the whole time I've had her and I'm so pleased to find something that is finally working. Added to this is the bonus that it hasn't cost a great deal and isn't a continuous outlay. Aside from the magic they have worked on her legs, I would rather use these brushes for daily grooming as it’s a long time since I've come across such decent sturdy brushes. Louisa Milne Home – International Event Rider “When three of my youngsters became infected with ringworm I called the vet straight away so antifungal treatment could begin. I was so worried about it spreading to other horses so I started looking in to solutions to improve biosecurity. “Aside from washing all rugs, equipment and disinfecting the whole yard, a friend suggested I use KBF99 grooming equipment. The KBF99 range is scientifically proven to kill ringworm (amongst other fungus and bacteria) and helps to stop the spread of infection. “I started using the brushes straight away on the infected youngsters, but also on the other horses, to make sure they didn’t pick up ringworm too. The brushes were really good after I had treated the horses with the Imaverol (as advised by my vet) as the horses were then left with very flaky dead and unhealthy skin. At this point the brushes were fab as you had the confidence that even if all the fungus hadn't been killed the bushes where going to help stop you spreading it around the horse. Also the brushes were great at exfoliating dry flaky patches and then helping to speed up the growth of healthy new skin and hair.

“I kept one brush for each horse of the four horses that had been turned out together, I had three bad cases and one that didn't have it and never did get it which was a huge relief! Hopefully now just having the brushes on the yard will help protect us if anything ever manages to sneak in on a new horse again.”

I have been using the KBF99 brushes on my Arab mare Tess for over a month now, I have been using them daily and the results have actually been very good indeed. So much so my mum, boyfriend and friend have all commented on her revived healthy glow. Tess had suffered slight rain scald and has very sensitive skin.
