Quarterly Business Meeting - Today at 6:00 pm. Nominating Committee Meeting - Monday, July 25th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. Personnel Committee Meeting - Thursday, July 28th at 7:00 pm. Meet-n-Eat - Thursday, July 28th at 7:00 pm at IHOP. Food Pantry Sunday - Sunday, July 31st. Don’t forget to bring grocery items this month to support the local food pantry. Properties Committee Meeting - Thursday, August 4th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. Give Back Day - Knightdale Eye Care and Wendell Eye Care are having a “Give Back Day” for the community on August 19th from 7:00 am - 2:00 pm. They are providing free eye exams and glasses to the uninsured and underprivileged citizens in the Knightdale and Wendell communities. It is first come, first served, but limited to the first 150 persons. There will be another “Give Back Day” in 6 months. A Back-to-school Supply Drive, sponsored by the Angelic Ministers, is going on now! Please help with this mission by purchasing school supplies for children in need in our local schools. We need book bags, pencils, pencil case, wide-ruled notebooks, erasers, scissors, crayons, glue sticks, etc. This is an immediate need - some schools have already started and others will start soon. You can leave your donations in the Conference Room. Thank you for all your support!

Our Christian sympathy is extended to Frances Watson and her family in the death of her mother, Edna Newton. And to David Hinton in the death of his aunt, Faye S. Marcaurelle.

Please note: If for some reason you are not available to help on the day that you volunteered to work, we ask that you please don’t forget to find a replacement for yourself so there is adequate coverage during the worship service. Also, if you have a change in the schedule for the children’s nursery or children’s church, please contact the monthly coordinator so that the change can be made prior to the printing of the worship bulletin. However, any permanent changes in the schedule should continue to be handled by the lead coordinator.

Attention KBC Parents: If you have a child participating in children’s worship, please make sure they are picked up at the end of the church service by a parent or adult. The children’s worship leaders will only allow children to be picked up by a parent or adult from the nursery, toddler, 2-3 year old, 4-5 year old, or 6-7 year old classrooms. We love our children at KBC and want to ensure their safety!
