Advanced Purchasing Specialist – Responsible for the purchasing of all prototype components for the terminal
tractor platform in addition to all frame rail assemblies and cab assemblies which represent ~$17M in annual spend.
This position has a strong focus in project management from conception to fulfillment. Position also requires a “on
the edge of technology” mindset.
Negotiation and Contract Specialist - Developed negotiation plans and commercial contracts (LOI, LOA, SA, CA,
NDA, SOW) and other pertinent agreements with tier 1, Class A suppliers. Developed and maintained software
database for the management of supplier contract benefits for Autocar Truck, LLC. Some of these benefits included
YOY price reductions, marketing funds, market entry funds for new products, VA/VE opportunities, warranty terms,
expirations and rebates for automotive products purchased.
Commodity Manager - Responsible for the purchase of approximately $37 million in annual spend focusing
primarily on Chassis and Electronic components such as Axles, Brakes, Suspension, Springs, Steering, Tires &
Wheels, Wiring Harnesses, Instrumentation, Chassis, Body, Transmission and Engine Control Modules, Cables,
Switches, Gateway Modules and many other electronic components. Other areas of responsibility included MRO
and indirect spend.
Workhorse Custom Chassis, a subsidiary of International Truck and Engine.; Union City, IN 1999 – 2008
Buyer – Responsible for the purchase of approximately $5 million in annual spend focusing primarily on Electronic
components such as Instrumentation, Starters, Alternators, Chassis, Body, Transmission and Engine Control
Modules, Cables, Switches, Gateway Modules and many other electronic components.
Zone 4 Warehouse Supervisor - Responsible for the management of twenty union employees,
one salary personnel, and all offsite consolidation points for this automotive manufacturer. The focus in this position
centers on controlling inventory on the plant floor through “lean” manufacturing concepts in addition to controlling
and analyzing manpower requirements. This position required extensive work with suppliers and trucking
companies to improve product packaging and dock flow through which we developed a formal supplier performance
system and implemented a RFID location control system.
Materials Manager – Responsible for many aspects of inventory control, including cash flow and product cost
analysis, supplier development, forecasting, scheduling and logistics. Responsible for six analysts and the
management of $15.1 million in inventory. The focus in this position centers on inventory reduction, inventory
procurement, problem identification/resolution, process development and control. Managed coordinated efforts to
reduce inventory from $19 million to $15 million in six months.
Master Scheduler, Forecasting & Planning – Responsible for analyzing and creating current and future
production schedules. This included creating monthly and yearly forecasts and budgets to enable procurement of
material requirements and to ensure both Sales and Manufacturing objectives are obtained. Responsible for
coordinating efforts between Operations, Engineering, Sales and Materials on production requirements,
obsolescence and excess of automotive components needed to build a commercial or motor-home chassis. Worked
closely with suppliers determining EDI and other E-commerce solutions.
Materials Planner - Responsible for the purchase of all A Item requirements (Engines, Transmissions, Axles,
Susp. ,etc.) in a JIT environment. Coordinated efforts between buyers and suppliers to establish contracts determine
raw/fab authorization, avg. usage and logistics.

Production Supervisor – Responsible for the implementation of a newly constructed assembly line that produced
drum brakes. Supervised 52 union employees in daily production tasks. Scheduled assembly line according to
customer demand and available inventory. Participated in several training seminars including lock out/tag out
procedures, asbestos training, 5S and safety seminars.

Sales Marketing Coordinator – Responsible for working with ISP to develop and maintain website,

literature, promotional items, building and maintaining a solid contact database, mass customer mailings, and
expense tracking and budgeting.
Warranty Coordinator – Responsible for maintaining, tracking and analysis of warranty claims submitted to this
body builder. Required to have extensive familiarity of the trucks produced to enable assistance to customers
regarding inquiries.
Special Projects – Tracking and expedition of trucks during a critical period of shortages and working with
management to assure the correct units were prioritized, scheduled, and effectively addressed according to the
customer’s demand.
Quality Control – Required an extensive knowledge of the product built by this company. Responsibilities included
inspection of the truck through every process while working with employees and key management members to
establish techniques to correct deficiencies in a continuous improvement environment.
