It is important to think of your wardrobe staples as blank canvas’ which you can build your outfits on. Refining and employing your own good taste is probably the best when it comes to wardrobe decisions. Avoid being too ‘matchy-matchy’ and ensure when you are choosing pieces, the fit is right. For your body shape, fit is of ultra importance as you want to show off your figure, not swamp it. However, don’t be afraid to trial new outfit combinations. Be confident with what you wear and if you feel good in certain clothes, wear them and then take a mental snapshot of yourself wearing an outfit you feel good in to remember for the future. Skinny jeans paired with a white t-shirt and blazer or casual jacket, wedges, ballet flats, jandals or converse are great go-to outfits for different occasions. The look is simple, yet so chic and classy. For work, teaming your black jeans (for Summer, a black skirt/knee length shorts) with slightly dressier tops and ballet flats works really well.
