- Protan AS – Norway. In 1939, the company which designed
dand started to manufacture the first rubber coated life jackets
was established in Drammen. At present, the company
produces world-renowned niche PVC products, including
roof membranes;
- Elmark Hale – Poland. In 1989, company manufacturinga
and assembling tent structures – then little known in Poland –
was established in Steszew near Poznan.
In 2008, Protan AS merged with Elmark Hale to form the basis of the
present company.
Today, our chief assets are a combination of wealth of experience
and the use of state-of-the-art technology in the production of our
structures. It is possible to encounter our products on as many as
four continents and this is just the beginning for us. Our aspirations
are much higher.

We manufacture aluminium framed structures with gable roof
in standard widths ranging from 10 to 40 metres and with
hipped roof – ranging from 15 to 40 metres. The frames are
made from rectangular box aluminium profiles. For added
strength, we additionally use a steel-cable bracing system.

This type of product is available two options of side wallswith
coverings: one fully covered with PVC fabric, the other with
single skin steel. It is an economically viable solution, yet the
price is not the only advantage.
It is worth noting that in all our aluminium structures the
covering is divided according to segmentation, which
improves its tension and makes it easier for the user to repair
any damage to the covering.
Still, the main advantage of the halls with hipped roof is a
significant usable and storage height. These structures
loading wiresrequire no transverse snow installed at the eaves
height.
