SOLARIS d.o.o. is a Croatian manufacturer of photovoltaic modules, present in Croatian and part of Eastern European markets with its hi-tech, high-performance reliable modules.SOLARIS d.o.o. foundation started with the production of photovoltaic modules in 1999. We are a partner of a reputable Italian manufacturer of photovoltaic cells, Helios Technology from Padova (Italy) and we are their exclusive representative and distributor in Croatia and part of Eastern Europe.Our production is based on world’s top standards and it satisfies all demands of today's market. Production technology of our PV modules is continually being improved and modernized, and the result of this is a large range of high-quality products that we offer, starting from PV modules (10-230Wp), charge regulators, low-consumption fluorescent lamps, inverters and batteries.To satisfy requests of today’s market Solaris started with the production of new generation of PV modules and introduced an automatic line for production of PV modules with the capacity of 50MW.

Photovoltaic modules SOLARIS are one of the most efficient in the market and are especially suitable for applications in stand –alone and grid-connected systems and for mobile units like campers or boats. Typical lifetime of modules is over 30 years long. Each cell and module is tested and its quality is controlled in all phases of production process. Installation of modules is very simple, practical and optimal for all configuration systems.

Frame design makes these modules reliable and easy to install. It is made of anodised aluminum with four holes, which makes it practical and compact. Frame dimensions are displayed in tables for different types of modules.

Cells are laminated between layers of ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), tempered glass and white back-sheet, which give an ideal waterproof protection. Tempered glass is highly transparent and it optimally receives and diffuses the light. Modules are incorporated in aluminum frame and they acquire the necessary solidity, and are practical and easy to install.

Junction box (JB) with IP65 security level has the by-pass diodes and appropriate connections. It is equipped with two PG11 connections, which allow an easy installation. By-pass diodes integrated on the board allow a simple replacement in case of damage.

A charge regulator is able to control and monitor charging of one or more batteries connected to him. It is manufactured using solid-state technology (MOSFET), which doesn't contain internal relays. An internal microprocessor allows the regulator to control all the functions and a built in blocking diode prevents the loss of energy caused by the reverse current leakage. It is appropriate for different applications (for systems working on 12 or 24V with Pb-acid or Pb-gel batteries).

HL Powertop series of batteries (maintenance free) have high performances and a long lifetime. Pb-gel batteries can be used in any position and have an average lifetime of 8 to 10 years and a cycle number that goes over 1000. They are especially suitable for modern photovoltaic installation systems.

The new fluorescent lamps thanks to their design, quality and performances represent the best that the market can offer today.

These highly efficient, compact lamps ensure an energy saving of 75% compared to the traditional lamps. Lamps have an E27 socket that fits the standard lamps. Low -consumption fluorescent lamps are able to tolerate wide voltage variations, even under critical environmental conditions, and have an average life- time of 8000 hours.

KUBIK 500 and KUBIK 1200 are inverters designed for stand-alone applications in areas where the traditional 230 VAC power grid is not available.

These DC-AC power inverters convert a 12 or 24 VDC input voltage supplied by the batteries, into a 230 VAC output at 50 or 60 HZ. Inverters have a “Master-Slave” connection thanks to which, connecting more inverters in parallel, it is possible to build-up systems and increase total available power. Maximum total power output can be up to 3000VA with KUBIK 500 systems, and up to 7200VA with KUBIK 1200.

Functions of inverter are monitored by a powerful processor, which can activate safeguard functions.

Solar kits

Solaris has created special solar kits, which offer a power supply of 230VAC in places where the power grid is not available. Installing kits, which range from SK-80 to SK-440, it is now possible to have light, connect a TV and a freezer in all areas.Solar kits are suitable for upgrading, adding PV modules, batteries or inverters. Connecting more than one inverter KUBIK (up to max. 6 units) in parallel, it is possible to supply powerful devices without changing the inverter. Using kits only during weekends and adding a battery it is possible to attach a freezer (weekend version). Combining the system with the automatic battery charger attached to auxiliary generator it is possible to get more security of the system in case of cloudy weather. Solar kits are designed to be used in summer periods.

Solaris' experts in collaboration with authorized installers give consulting services regarding grid systems and design systems according to average consumption, requirements, available area and capacity of installation. According to the average power consumption of a family, dimensions of grid connected photovoltaic systems should be from 1-5 kW.
