KATA MARKON According to MarkChapter 1

1 The Beginning of The Good Message of Jesus The Anointed [The Son of God] .2 According to the way it has been written in The (Book) of Isaiah The Prophet ,

“Behold , I am Sending My Messenger , before Your Face , Who will Prepare The Way for You .3 The Voice of one crying out in the wilderness :Make Ready The Road of The Lord , make the beaten tracks , straight !” 4 (And so) John came , Baptizing in the desolate region , and Heralding The Baptism of The Transposing of the Mind to let go of missing The Mark . 5 And the whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him . confessing their errors , and were baptized by him in The Jordan River . 6 And John was wrapped in a camel’s hair garment and bound by a leather belt around his waist , and ate locusts and wild honey . 7And Heralding he said : “One more Powerful than I comes after me , of which the thongs of His sandals I am not worthy to stoop down to untie .8 I Baptize you in water , but He will Baptize you in The Holy Spirit .” 9 In those days , it came to pass that Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in The Jordan .10 and suddenly ascending out of The Water , He Saw Heaven being Parted and The Spirit descending on Him like a Dove .11 And a Voice came from The Heavens :

“You are My Son , The Well-Disposed ; in You I am Well-Pleased .”

Earth Desolation \ beaten tracks \ Wilderness

12 And at once , The Spirit cast Him out into the wilderness , 13 and was in the desert forty days , being tempted by Satan , and while He was with the wild animals , The Angels also reached down to Him . 14 Then , after John was imprisoned , Jesus went into Galilee Proclaiming The Good Message from God .15 and saying that :

“It has been Fulfilled

and The Right Time of The Kingdom of God has come to pass :

You must Turn your Attention Around[pres.act] and Trust[pres.act] in The Good Message .”16 And as He was walking along by the Sea of Galilee He saw Simon and the brother of Simon ,Andrew casting a net in the sea ; for they were fishermen . 17And Jesus said to them “Come , Follow Me , and I will make you to become fishers of men”. 18 And at once they left their nets , following Him .19 And advancing a little further , He saw James son of Zebedee and his brother , John ; and they too were in their boat , mending their nets . 20 And He immediately summoned them . And leaving their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired workmen , they departed to follow after him .21 And He Lead them into Capernaum ; and as soon as The Days of The Sabbath arrived He went to the synagogue [the place of the gathering together] to teach . 22 And they were Filled-Full from His Lessons , for His Lessons Possessed an Abundance of Resources , and were not as those of the scribes .23 And all of a sudden , there was a man possessed by an unclean spirit , in their synagogue , and shouted 24 saying , “And What do you want with us , Jesus of Nazareth ? Have you come to destroy us ;I know who You are : You are The Holy One of God.” 26 And Commanding him Jesus said . “Be thou silenced and come out of him .”

27 and the unclean spirit convulsing him and crying with a great cry came out of him . And everyone was amazed and so that they examined each other asking , “What is This ? He Teaches in a new way according to an Abundance of Resources ; ; ’ :and even Gives Orders to unclean spirits , and they obey Him”. 28 And His reputation immediately spread everywhere throughout the whole Galilean countryside .29 And immediately upon leaving the synagogue , he went with James and John to the houseof Simon and Andrew. 30 Now Simon’s mother-in-law was laid-out in bed having a fever , and straightway they told him about her . 31 He went ahead , took-hold of and lead her by the hand ; And the fever left her , and she began to minister to them .32 Then that evening when the sun set , they brought to him all that were sick and those that were possessed by spirits ; 33 so that the whole town was gathered around the door .34 And He cured many of the sickly who had various diseases , and He cast out many spirits , but He would not permit the spirits to say , that they had “knew” Him .35 And in the early hours , much into the night , rising up to go out , and He departed to a desolate place and there He Prayed . 36 And Simon and his companions set out in search for Him , ’ 37 and finding Him they said that , “Everyone is looking for you .” 38 And He responded to them , “Let us go elsewhere , keeping to the country villages , in order that I can Herald there also ; because for This I came forth”. 39 And He went Heralding in their synagogues throughout the whole of Galilee and casting out spirits .40 And a leper came to Him pleading to Him and on his knees and said to Him that“If You so Desire , You Have The Power To Purify me .”41 And Having Compassion , He stretched out his hand to touch him and said to him , “I so Desire . Be Purified .” and immediately the leprosy left from him , and he was cleansed .’

43 And being deeply moved by him , immediately , sent him forth , 44 and He said to him “See to it that you say nothing to anyone , but surrender , showing yourself to the priest and make the offering for your purification which Moses prescribed , as evidence to them .”45 He went away , but on the other hand , began to Herald and to spread abroad The Word to all , so that He could not any longer openly go into town , but had to stay outside in regions which were desolate ; yet , from all around they would come to Him .

Chapter 2

1 And entering again into Capernaum some time later , word went around about what house He was in ;’2 and many people collected so that there was not any space left , not even in front of the door , and He was telling The Word to them . 3 Then they came bringing to Him a paralytic being carried by four . 4 But being unable to get the man to him because of the mass , they removed the roof where He was , and having dug-out an opening , they lowered the stretcher on which the paralytic lay .5 And seeing their Trust , Jesus said to the paralytic , “Child , you are Released from being prone to keep missing The Mark .”(The Logos:The Purpose/Reason/Design)6 But there were some scribes sitting there , and they thought in their hearts , 7 “How can this man talk in this way ? He is blaspheming : Who has the power to Release our deficiency if not one who is God ?”8 Immediately , Jesus , Inwardly Perceived in His Spirit that they were inwardly thinking in this way , and said to them , “What are these thoughts in your hearts ?”9 What is more easy , to say to the paralytic , “Your failure to Realize your Purpose is Set Free to do so , 10 or to say , Get up and pick up your stretcher and walk around ? 11 But in order that you know that The Son of Mankind has an Abundance of Resources upon The Earth 12 to Abolish deficiencies - He said to the paralytic “To you I say : Get up , pick up your stretcher , and

retire to your home”. And he got up , immediately picked up his stretcher and went out in front of all so that they were all astonished and extolled God saying that , “We have known nothing such as this”.

13 And He went out again to the lake shore ; and all the mass came to him and He taught them . 14 And while passing by he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus , sitting by the customs house , and said to him ,“Follow me”. And he got up and followed him .15 And having reclined himself (to dinner) in his house , many of tax collectors and others prone to failure were also reclining together at the table with Jesus and his disciples : for there were also many of them who followed him .16 And when the scribes of the Pharisees saw that He was eating with failures and tax collectors , they said to his disciples . “Why is it that he eats with tax collectors and losers ?” 17 And Jesus hearing this , said to them , “It is not the healthy who have need of the healer , but the sickly have that need . I did not come to summon the Righteous , but those that are prone to fail .”’

18 And the disciples of John and the Pharisees were fasting . And they came and said to him , “Why is it that John’s disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast , but your disiples do not fast ?”19 And Jesus replied to them , “It is not possible for the sons of the bridechamber to fast while the bridegroom is inside with them ? For as much time as they have the bridegroom with them ’’they are not able to fast . 20 But the days will come when the bridegroom will be widowed from them , ’ and then on that day they will fast .21 No one sews a patch of unpliant cloth upon an old garment ; for then The Full Effect desired will not be realized , for the new separates from the old itself and gets worse .’22 And nobody puts new wine into old wineskins : for again The Full Effect desired will not be realized , , the wine will burst the skins and the wine and the skins are lost . [Thus new skins for new wine are needed.] ”

23 And during the days of the Sabbath he happened to be walking besides the cornfields , and his disciples began to work on picking ears of corn as they journeyed . 24 And the Pharisees said to him , “Look , why are they doing that which is not to be done on the Sabbath ?”25 and he replied to them , “Have you never read what David did , at the time when he was in need and he and his followers were hungry , 26 how he went into the house of God when Abiathar was high priest , and ate the loaves of the offering , which no one is to eat except the priests , and which he also gave to those with him ?”27 And he said to them , “The Sabbath came into being for the sake of Mankind , and not mankind for the sake of The Sabbath ;28 so that The Son of Mankind is also Master of the Sabbath .”

Chapter 3

1 And He went again into the synagogue . And there was a man there who had a hand that was withered .

2 And they were watching him closely to see if he would cure him on the Sabbath day ,

in order to charge that against him . 3 And He said to the man having the withered hand , “Rise up into the middle!” 4 Then he said to them , “Is it allowed to do Good on the Sabbath , or to do evil , to Save a soul , or to kill ?” but they were silent . 5 Then , looking around angrily at them , being deeply distressed at the hardness of their hearts , ’

He said to the man , “Stretch out your hand !” And as he stretched it out , his hand was transformed .6 The Pharisees went out at once and began plotting with the Herodians against Him , ’discussing how they would destroy Him .7 And Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea , and great crowds followed Him ,

from Galilee , from Judaea , 8 and from Jerusalem , and from Idumaea , and from beyond Jordania and the region of Tyre and Sidon ,great numbers who had heard of all he was doing came to Him .

9 And he asked his disciples to prepare a boat for him there , because of the mass of people in order to keep Himself from being crushed ; to Reach The Mark]10 for he had cured many , so that as many as were sick , moved forward to Him , to touch Him . 11 And the unclean spirits , whenever they saw him , would fall down before him and shout , saying12 that “You are the Son of God!”But He censored them strongly , that they were not to make Him known .

13 And He went up into the mountains and Summoned those that He wanted , and they came to Him . 14 And He Appointed Twelve [and whom He named “Apostles”] that they might be with Him ’and in order that they be “Sent out” by Him to Herald , 15 and to possess Abundant Resources to cast out spirits .16 [And He Appointed The Twelve] : Simon to whom He also gave the name Peter , 17 and James the son of Zebedee and John the brother of James , and to them whom He gave the name of The Boanerges ; which means The Sons of Thunder ;18 then Andrew , Philip , Bartholomew, Matthew, Thomas , James the son of Alphaeus , and Thaddaeus , and Simon the Cananite (Zealot) 19 and Judas Iscariot , who was also to betray Him .20 And He went home ; and again a mass of people collected , so that they could not even eat bread .21 And his relatives hearing of this , set out to take charge of him ; for they said that it was the right thing to do . 22 And the scribes who had come down from Jerusalem said that , “Beelzebul is in him.” and that , “The power exists in the ruler of spirits to cast out spirits .” 23 So he called them to him and spoke to them in comparisons , “How is Satan able to cast out Satan ?24 For if any kingdom is divided against itself , that kingdom is not able to be established ; ’25 and if a household is divided against itself , that household will not be able to stand .’26 Thus if Satan arose against himself and was divided , he cannot endure ; for it is the end of him .27 For no one is able to break into the house of a strong man to plunder his supplies ,

unless he has bound-up the strong man first , and then he can plunder his house.28 I tell you truly that all the errors and even the blasphemies of blasphemers , of the sons of mankind will be Set-free ;29 but he who should blasphemy against The Holy Spirit , will not be Released for The Whole Period ,’30 for that mistake is subject to the whole period . ” ”This was because they were saying , “He has an unclean spirit ”.

31 And His mother and brothers arrived , and standing outside , sent a message to Him calling for Him .32 A crowd was sitting around him , and they said to him , “Look , your mother and your brothers [and your sisters] are outside searching for you”.33 He answered them and said , “Who is my mother and who are [my] brothers ?” 34 And looking around at those sitting in a circle about him he said , “Look , my mother and my brothers .35 For whomsoever should Do , The Will of God , this person , is my brother and sister and mother .”

Chapter 4

1 And again He began to teach beside the lake ; but a huge mass of people gathered around Him so that He embarked upon a boat on the lake to sit , and all the masses were along the shore of the lake 2 He taught them many things in parables and in the course of His teaching He said to them , 3 “Listen ! Behold a sower going out to sow . 4 Then it happened that , of that seed which was sown , some fell next to the road , and the birds came and ate all of it . 5 And some of the seed fell on rocky ground where it did not find much earth , and it sprang up straightaway , because it did not have any deep roots in the earth ; 6 and when the sun rose up it was scorched , and by not having any deep roots , it withered away . 7 And some seed fell into the thorns , and the thorns grew up and choked it , and did not produce fruit . 8 And some seed fell into Good Earth and , coming up and waxing strong , produced fruit ; and brought forth thirty , and sixty , and a hundredfold .”

9 And He said , “Whomsoever has ears to hear , listen !”10 And when He was alone , The Twelve , together with those who gathered around Him , came asking him what the parables meant . 11 And He said to them , “To you , The Mystery of The Kingdom of God is given ; but to those outside , everything comes in parables , 12 in order that , looking to see , but do not Perceive , and listening to hear , but do not Understand ; so that in no way might they be Converted and Set-free .” -Isaiah 6 : 9,10-

13 He said to them , “Not knowing this parable , then how will you recognize all of the other parables ? 14 The sower sows The Word .15 Those on the edge of the path where The Word is sown are those who thus hear the word , but Satan comes and immediately carries away The Word that was sown in them .16 And those , that receive the seed in rocky places are those who , when they hear The Word , immediately welcome It , with joy . 17 But (The Word) having no root in them , they last but for a season ; then should some distress come , or some persecution on account of The Word , they take offence at once .18 And there are those others who are sown in thorns . These are those that have heard The Word , 19 but the worries of life , and the deception of riches and all the rest of the passions then come in together to choke The Word , and so It produces no Fruit .20 And finally there are Those who have been sown upon The Goodness of The Earth : These are Thosethat hear The Word and accept It and bring-forth a Fruit , thirty , sixty and a-hundredfold .”21 He also said to them , “You would not bring-in a lamp to put it under a tub or under the bed ?22 Would you not place it on the lamp-stand ? For there is nothing hidden that will not be brought to Light. nothing that has been kept secret that will not be made Clear .’23 If anyone has ears to hear , let him hear .”24 He also said to them , “Pay Attention to what you are hearing .

The measure in which you measure-out , is the measure that will be measured-out to you and more will be added besides to you . 25 For whosoever has , to that person will be given more ; but from that person who has nothing , even that which he has , will be taken away from him .”’26 He also said , “In this way The Kingdom of God is just as a man who sows seed upon The Earth 27 while he sleeps and when he is awake , Night and Day , even while the seed is sprouting and growing ;just as he does not know how . The Earth Automatically [Instinctively/Intuitively/Innately] Produces , first 28 the tender-shoot , then the young-ear , then The Full-Maturity-Ingrained-in-the-ear . 29 Then , when the crop is ready , he immediately puts the sickle to it , because The Harvest , has come.”30 He also said , “To what can we liken The Kingdom of God or in what parable can we view it ?31 It is like a mustard seed , of which when sown in The Earth is smaller than all those sown in The Earth ; 32 but when sown , it grows up and becomes the biggest herb of all , and makes big branches ,so that The Winged-birds of Heaven are able to take shelter under its shade.”33 Using many parables such as these , He spoke The Word to them , as far as they were able to listen (understand) ;34 For He would not speak to them except through parables , but when He was alone , with His own disiples , He would explain everything .’35 With the coming of evening on that same day , he said to them , “Let us cross over to the other side.” 36 And leaving behind the crowd , taking him , just as he was , in the boat ; and there were other boats with him .’37 Then a great wind began to blow and the waves were breaking into the boat , so that it was almost swamped .38 But he was in the stern , with his head on a cushion , asleep . They woke him and said to him , “Master , do you not care that we are perishing ?” 39 He woke up and rebuked the wind and said to the sea , “Quiet ! Be calm !”And the wind ceased blowing and there was a great calmness of the sea . 40 Then He said to them , “Why are you so frightened ? Do you have no faith at all ?”

41 And being-afraid with a great fear they then said to each other , “Who then is this man , that even the wind and the sea listen (obey) to him ? ”

Chapter 5

1 And they came into the country of the Gerasenes on the other side of the lake . And2 immediately as He left the boat an unclean spirit in a man lifted him out of the tombs towards Him .3 This man who lived in the tombs , and no one could restrain him any more , not even in chains , 4 and since often it had been tried to restrain him with fetters and chains but he had broken the fetters and the chains , and no one had the strength to control him . 5 All night and day , among the tombs and in the mountains , he would rage and cut himself with stones .6 And seeing Jesus from a distance , he ran-up and kneeled-down-before Him , 7 and raging with a loud voice said , “What do you want with me , Jesus , Son of the Most High God ?In The Name of God , I entreaty you , do not torment me !” 8 For He had been saying to him “Unclean spirit ! Come out of the man !” 9 And He asked him ,“What is your name ?” And he replied , “Legion is my name , for we are many .” 10 And he pleaded to Him , vehemently , that He not send them out of that region . 11 Now there was , there on the mountainside a great herd of pigs feeding ;12 and they (unclean spirits) begged Him , saying , “Send us to the pigs , so that we may enter into them .” 13 So He gave leave to them . And , the unclean spirits came out and went into the pigs , and the herd , of about two thousand , rushed-down the steep-bank into the lake , and they were drowned in the sea .14 And the swineherds fled and told their story in the town and in the countryside ;so the people came to see what it is that had happened . 15 And they came to Jesus , and seeing the man who had been possessed sitting there , clothed and being of Sound-mind , the very man who was possessed by the legion , they were afraid . 16 And those who had witnessed it , reported what had become of the demoniac and about the pigs . 17 Then they began to implore Him to depart from their territory .

18 Then as he was embarking into the boat , the man who had been possessed , implored Him that he be allowed to stay with Him . ’19 But He would not let him , but said to him , “Go to your home , to your people , and Proclaim to them all that The Master has done for you and The Mercy He Has Shown you .”20 So the man departed and began to Proclaim all that Jesus had done for him , throughout the Decapolis , and everyone was amazed .21 And Jesus , having crossed-over again to the other side in the boat , 22 a large crowd gathered around Him , and he stayed by the lakeside .’Then one of the synagogue officials came up , Jairus by name , and seeing Him , fell at His feet 23 and he pleaded to Him , earnestly , saying that , “My little daughter is at the point of dying . 24 Do come and lay Your hands on her to save her and that she may live .” So He went with him . ’ And a large crowd followed Him ; and pressed all around Him . 25 Now there was a woman who had a bloody-flow for twelve years ; 26 and after extreme suffering , under many doctors , and having spent all she had , ’without getting any better , but getting far worse ,27 having heard about Jesus , approaching from behind through the crowd in order to touch His cloak ;28 for she had told herself that “Even if I could touch His garments , I shall be saved .” 29 And , immediately , she Recognized that the source of her bleeding had dried up , and that her body was cured of her affliction .30 And immediately Jesus Recognized in Himself that power had gone out from Himself , turned back to the crowd saying , “Who touched my garments ?” 31 And His disciples said to Him , “You see the crowd pressing all about and yet say , ‘Who touched me’?”32 But He looked all around to see who had done this .33 Then the woman frightened and trembling knowing what had happened to her , came forward and prostrated herself before Him and told Him The Whole Truth .

34 Then He said to her “My Daughter , your Faith , has saved you ; go in Peace and be Healthy , Free-from your affliction .”35 While He was still speaking some people arrived from the house of the synagogue official reporting that , “Your daughter is dead ; why put The Teacher to any further trouble ?”36 But Jesus having overheard this remark they had spoken said to the official of the synagogue ,“Do not be afraid ; only have Faith .” 37 And he allowed no one to go with him , except Peter and James and John the brother of James .’38 And coming into the house of the official , and He saw all the confusion of weeping and loud-wailing , 39 He went in and said to them , “Why the confusion and weeping ? The child is not dead , but asleep.” 40 So they ridiculed Him . Then He threw-out all of them , taking the child’s father and mother and his own companions and went into the place where the child was .’41 And taking the child by the hand he said to her “Talitha koum ,” which translated means , “Dear maiden , I say to you , get up .” 42 And immediately , the young maiden stood up and walked about ; for she was twelve years old .And immediately , they were greatly astonished with wonder . 43 And He gave express orders to all of them to let no one know about this , and He told them to give her something to eat .

Chapter 6

1 And He left that region and entered into the land of his fathers , with his disciples accompanying Him .2 With the coming of the Sabbath He began to teach in the synagogue , and many of them , upon hearing were adversely affected , saying , “Where did this man acquire this and what is this wisdom that has been given to Him , and powers such as these that are worked through His hands ?3 Is this very man not the carpenter , the son of Mary , the brother of James and Joset and Jude and Simon ? His sisters , too , are they not here with us ?” So , they took offence in Him .4 And Jesus said to them that , “A prophet is not without Honor only if He is not in the land of His fathers ,

and among his own relations and in his own house .” ;5 and He was not able to work His Power there on anyone , if not for the few sick people He cured by The-Laying-On of His hands .6 And He was amazed at their lack of Faith . Then He went about teaching in the surrounding villages . 7 Then He summoned the Twelve and began to send them out two by two giving them Authority-over the unclean spirits ,8 And He instructed them to take nothing for the journey except only a staff , no bread , no haversack , not even one copper in their belts , 9 but they were to wear sandals , but were not to take an extra tunic . 10 And He said to them , “If you enter a house anywhere , stay there until you should leave .11 And that place that should not receive you nor listen to you , as you walk away from there shake off the dust from under your feet as a witness to them .”12 So they set off Proclaiming The Conversion of Mind ;

13 and cast out many devils , and anointed many sick people with oil and cured them .

John the Baptist – Herod – Herodias & her Daughter

14 Meanwhile , King Herod had heard about Him , and some said that , “John The Baptist has arisen from the dead , and through these , powers are energized in Him.” 15 But others said that , “He is Elijah”; others again said that , “He is a prophet , like one of the prophets .”16 But when Herod heard this he said , “It is John the very one I beheaded ; arisen [from the dead] .”17 For it was this same Herod who had sent to have John arrested , and had him chained up in the guardhouse , because of Herodias , his brother Philip’s wife , she that he had married .18 For John had told Herod that , “It is not Allowed for you to have your brother’s wife.”19 Thus Herodias , was incited-against him and wanted to kill him ; but was not able [to do so] ; 20 because Herod was afraid of John , knowing him to be a Just and Holy man , and always-protected him ,

and listening to him , he became much-perturbed , and yet he liked listening to him .21 Then an opportunity arose on Herod’s birthday when he gave a banquet for the magistrates of his court and for his army officers and for the leading figures of Galilee .22 When the daughter of this same Herodias came in and danced , she delighted Herod and his guests ; the king then said to the maiden , “Ask me for anything you wish , and I shall give it to you.”23 Then he swore an oath to her , “Whatever you ask of me I shall give you , even half my kingdom.”24 And she went out to ask her mother , “For what shall I ask ?” then she replied , “The head of John the Baptist”. 25 And immediately , going back to the king with her hasty request she said , “I want you to give to me , at once , the head of John the Baptist , on a dish ”.26 And the king became deeply distressed , because of the oaths he had sworn and of his guests , he was not willing to deny her request.27 So the king at once sent one of the bodyguards with orders to bring his head .And [the bodyguard] went off and beheaded him in the guardhouse . 28 then he brought his head on a dish and gave it to the girl , and the girl gave it to her mother .29 When his disciples heard about this , they came and took his body and laid it in a tomb .30 And the apostles gathered around Jesus and reported to him all they had done and taught .31 Then he said to them , “You must come away to a place of solitude by yourselves and rest a while.’For there were so many coming and going , that they did not even have the opportunity to eat .32 So they went off in a boat to a place of solitude to be by themselves .’33 But some saw them going , and many recognized where ; and from every town they all ran together to the place on foot and arrived before them . 34 And disembarking he saw a large crowd that he took pity on them , because ’they were like sheep without having a shepherd , and he began to teach them many things .35 And as already it was getting very late , his disciples came up to him and said that , “This is a lonely place and it is already very late . 36 Send them away , so they can go to the surrounding farms and villages ,

to buy themselves something to eat . ”37 But He replied to them saying , “Give them something to eat , yourselves .” Then they replied to him , “Are we to go and spend two hundred dollars on bread to give them to eat ?”38 Then He replied to them “How many loaves do you have ? Go find out .” And having found out they said , “Five, and two fish .” 39 Then he ordered them to collect all the people together in drinking parties on the green grass ,40 and they sat down together in groups of hundreds and fifties .41 Then He took the five loaves and the two fish , raised His eyes to Heaven and said The Blessing , then he broke the loaves and gave them to his disciples to distribute to them .He also shared-out the two fish among them all . 42 And they all ate as much as they wanted .43 And there were Twelve Baskets of Superabundant leftovers of bread and of fish . 44 And those who had eaten the loaves numbered Five Thousand men .45 And immediately He made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead to Bethsaida , on the other side , while He dismissed the crowd .46 And after giving orders to them , He went off into the hills to Pray .47 When it was evening , the boat was in the middle of The Lake , and He was alone upon The Earth . 48 And seeing that they were being tested in their sailing , for The Wind was opposing them ; about the fourth watch of the night He came toward them , Walking upon The Lake and intending to come beside them , 49 But seeing Him Walking upon The Lake they believed that it was a phantasm , and cried out :50 For all of them had seen Him and were in a state of disorder . But immediately He spoke with them , and said to them , “ Take Courage ! It is I ! Do not be afraid !”’51 And getting into the boat with them , then The Wind subsided ,and They were exceedingly and extraordinarily astonished in themselves . 52 For by not Understanding , about The Loaves of Bread ; their hearts were turned to stone .’53 And having made the crossing , they came to land at Gennesaret and tied up .54 Immediately as they stepped out of the boat He was recognized , and

55 started running about throughout the whole countryside and brought the sick on stretchers thereto wherever they heard that he was .56 And wherever he would go , to village , or town , or farm , they laid down the sick in the open spaces ,and begging him to let them touch even the fringe of his cloak. And all those who touched him were cured .

Chapter 7

1 And the Pharisees and some of the scribes who had come from Jerusalem gathered around him .2 And they noticed that some of his disciples were eating their bread with common/profane hands , that is , without washing them .3 For the Pharisees , and all of the Jews , holding the tradition of the elders and diligently do not eat without washing their arms as far as the elbow ;4 and on returning from the market place they would not eat without baptising/cleansing themselves . ’There are also many other observances which they hold to concerning the cleansing of cups and pots and bronze dishes and dining couches .5 So the Pharisees and scribes asked him . “Through what reason do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders , but eat their bread with common/profane hands ?”6 He then said to them , “It was about you hypocrites , that Isaiah Rightly Prophesied , as it is written ; 7 These very people honor me with their lips , while their hearts are very far from me . ’ The worship they offer me , is fruitless , for they offer human commands . IS. 29:138 You put aside the commandment of God , to hold on to the traditions of mankind .”9 And he said to them , “How well you get around the commandment of God , in order to keep your own tradition !10 For Moses said ; Honor to your father and your mother , and , Whosoever curses father or mother must be put to death .11 But you say , ‘If a man says to his father or mother : Whatever it is that I have to give , which may be of service , is Korban ,

offering for the service of God] ,12 but then he is no longer permitted to do anything for his father or mother ;13 making invalid , The Word of God , for the sake of your tradition which you have handed down . And you do many other things like this.”14 And He called the people again and said to them , “Listen to me , all of you , and understand .15 Nothing that goes into a man from outside into him has the capacity to make him profane ; but the things that come out of a man are those that make a man profane .16 If anyone has ears to hear , let him hear”.17 And when he went into the house , away from the crowd , his disciples questioned him about the parable .18 and He said to them , “In what way do you not understand either ? Do you not comprehend that all that goes into a man from outside cannot make him common/profane 19 because it does not go into his heart but into his stomach , and passes out into the sewer ,making all food pure ?”20 Then He went on saying that , “That which comes out of man , is that which makes man , profane . 21 For it is from within , from the heart of men , that evil intentions emerge ; prostitution , theft , murder , 22 adultery, greed, malice, deceit, extravagance, suffering caused by the eye (envy),basphemy, pride, folly .23All these sufferings come from within and make man common/profane .”

24 Then leaving that place , He went to the territory of Tyre[and Sidon] . And He went into someone’s house not wanting anyone to realize that He had come , but He was not able to pass without being noticed .25 A woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit heard about Him then immediately came and prostrated herself at His feet .’26 Now the woman was a Hellene , by birth a Syrophoenician , and she begged Him to cast out the spirit from her daughter .27 And He said to her , “The children should be allowed to be fed first , because it is not fair to take the children’s bread and throw it to the house dogs .”28 But she replied and said to Him : “Yes , Master ,

and yet the house dogs can eat the children’s scraps , under the table ”.29 And He said to her , “Through this Account , you may retire , the spirit has gone out of your daughter .”30 So she went back to her home to find the child lying on the bed and the spirit gone .31 And leaving again from the region of Tyre He went by way of Sidon toward the Sea of Galilee , right through the middle of the Decapolis district .32 And they brought Him a deaf man who also had a speech impediment ; and they asked Him to lay His hand on him .33 And He took him aside in private , away from the crowd , ’and touching his tongue with saliva , He put His fingers into the man’s ears ,34 then looking up to Heaven sighing and He said to him , “Ephphatha ,” which means , “Be opened .”35 And [immediately] his ears were opened , and the bonds of his tongue were loosened and he spoke correctly . 36 And He ordered them to tell no one , but the more he ordered them , the more widely they proclaimed .37 And they were overwhelmed with astonishment , saying , “He has done all things in a good manner , for he makes the deaf hear and the dumb speak .”

Chapter 8

1 In those days there was again a great crowd and they had nothing to eat .So He called His disciples and said to them ,2 “I have compassion for this crowd ; since they have been with me for three days now and have nothing to eat ;3 And If I send them home hungry , they will collapse on the way ; for some of them have come from afar .”4 And His disciples replied to Him that , “Where could anyone get bread to feed them in a deserted place like this ?”’5 And He asked them , “How many loaves of bread have you”?And they replied , “Seven .” 6 Then He instructed the crowd to sit down upon The Earth , and He took the seven loaves and after giving thanks He broke them and handed them to His disciples to distribute ;

and they distributed them to the crowd .7 And they had a few small fish , and He said a Blessing over these and these were distributed .8 They ate as much as they wanted , and there were collected , seven basketfuls of left-overs .9 Now there were about four thousand . And He sent them away .

10 And immediately , getting into the boat with his disciples, went to the region of Dalmanutha . 11 And the Pharisees came up and started to question Him ; they demanded a sign from Heaven from Him , in order to test Him .’12 And sighing with His breath said , “Why does this family seek a sign ? I tell you solemnly , that I myself will give a sign to this family .”fut.mid.13 And leaving them and re-embarking He went away to the opposite shore .14 And they would have forgotten to take any bread if not for the one loaf they had with them in the boat .’15 Then he gave a warning to them saying , “Beware ; be on guard against both the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod”.16 And they enquired of one another , “Is it because we have no bread ?” 17 And Recognizing this , He said to them , “Why are you enquiring about having no bread ? Do you not yet Understand nor Comprehend ? Has your Heart/Mind been turned to stone ?18 Have you eyes but do not see and have you ears but do not hear ? And do you not Remember ,

19 when I broke the five loaves among the five thousand , how many baskets Full of left-overs did you collect ?”“Twelve .” They answered Him .20 “When the seven loaves were shared to the four thousand , how many baskets of left-over Plentitudes did you collect ?”And they answered to Him , “Seven .” 21 Then he said to them , “Do you not yet Comprehend ?”

22 They came to Bethsaida . And they brought to him a blind man ,

and they begged Him to touch him .23 And taking the hand of the blind man and led him outside the village and put saliva on his eyes , laid his hands on him , asking him , 24 “Can you see anything ?” and beginning to see , replied , “I can see people ; that look like trees , I see they are walking about .”25 Then he laid his hands on his eyes again , and he could plainly see and quite distinctly ; and , he could see everything in a conspicuous way .26 And He sent him home , saying , “Do not even go into the village .”27 And Jesus and his disciples left for the villages around Caesarea Philippi . And on the way , He questioned his disciples , askng them , “Who do people consider me to be ?” 28 Then they answered him saying that , “John the Baptist , others Elijah , but others again , one of the prophets .”29 “But you ,” he asked them , “who then do you consider me to be ?” Peter spoke up and said to Him , “That You are The Christ !”30 And he forbade them from telling anyone about him.

31 And he began to teach them that the Son of Man was destined to undergo much , and to be rejected by the elders , and the chief priests , and the scribes , and be put to death and after three days to Rise-up ;32 and He gave this account openly/candidly . Then , taking Him aside , Peter started censuring Him .33 But , turning-around and looking towards his disciples , He censured Peter and said , “Your way leads backwards from mine Satan ! Because that way is not The Sound Way of God , but the way of mankind .34 He called the people and his disciples to him and said , “If anyone wants to follow after me , let him Utterly Deny himself and take up his Staff and follow me .35 For whosoever shall desire to Save his soul shall Lose Her : but whosoever shall Lose his soul for My Sake ,

and for The Sake of The Good Proclamation , shall Save Her .36 For what benefit is it for a man to gain The Whole Kosmos but damage his own soul ? 37 For what can a man offer in exchange for his soul ? 38 For if anyone is ashamed of Me and of My Words in this adulterous family that is prone to miss the mark , The Son of Man shall also be ashamed of him , when He comes in The Glory of His Father with His Holy Messengers .”

Chapter 9

1 And he said to them , “I tell you solemnly , that there are some of those standing here , who shall not in any way taste of death before they shall see The Kingdom of God Come in Power .”2 And Six days later , Jesus took Peter and James and John and led them up a high mountain where they could be alone by themselves .’And in their presence He was Transformed : 3 and His clothes became exceedingly Brilliant White , so White as no cleaner on Earth could make them .4 And Elijah appeared to them together with Moses ; and they were talking with Jesus .5 Then Peter answered to Jesus , saying , “Teacher , it is good for us to be here , please let us make three tabernacles , one for Thee , one for Moses and one for Elijah .”6 For he did not know what to answer ; since they had become so frightened .

7 And a cloud came , overshadowing them ; and there came a Voice from the cloud , “This is My Son , The Well-Disposed . Listen to Him”.8 And all of a sudden , looking around , they saw no one with them any more , but only Jesus .’9 As they came down from the mountain , He warned them that they should not give any details to anyone of what they had seen , at least until the time The Son of Man should Rise from the dead .10 And they held fast to the warning , though among themselves , they searched together for what “the rising from the dead” could mean .11 And they questioned him saying , “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first ?”

22

12 Then He said to them , “On the one hand , Elijah is to come first to see that all is as it should be ; yet how is it that it has been written that the Son of Man is to undergo much and be treated as nothing ?13 However , I tell you that Elijah has indeed come and they have done with him as they pleased , just as it has been written about him .”’14 When they rejoined the disciples , they saw a large crowd around them and some scribes together making enquiries of them .15 And when they saw Him at once the whole crowd was overcome with awe and ran up to greet Him .16 And He asked them , “What are you enquiring of them ?” 17 And a man from the crowd answered Him , “Master , I have brought my son to you ; he has a spirit of dumbness ,18 and when it takes hold of him it dashes him , and he foams at the mouth and grinds his teeth and goes rigid . So I asked your disciples to cast it out , but they had not the strength .”19 Then He answered to them , saying “O faithless family , how much longer will I be with you ? How much longer must I hold you up ? Bring him to me .”20 So they brought him to Him . And as soon as it saw Him , the spirit threw him into convulsions , and he fell to the earth writhing , foaming at the mouth .21 And He asked his father , “How long has this been happening to him ?” “From childhood ;” he replied ,22 “and it has often thrown him into the fire and into the water , in order to destroy him .

But if there is anything you can do , have pity on us and help us .”’’23 Jesus then said to him “If I can ? All is possible to those that have Trust . 24 Immediately the father of the boy cried out saying , “I do have trust ! Please help my untrustfulness !”25 But seeing that the crowd was pressing around , Jesus commanded the unclean spirit saying to it ; “Deaf and dumb spirit , I command you ; come out of him and never enter into him !”26 And after violent convulsions it came out shouting ; and became as if dead ,so that the majority said that he was dead .

23

27 But Jesus took him by the hand helping him up , and he stood up . 28 And when He had gone indoors His disciples asked Him privately ,’“Why is it that we were unable to cast it out ?” 29 He answered them , “This is the kind that is not able to be driven out , if not by Prayer [and fasting] .”

30 Upon leaving that place they made their way through Galilee; and he did not want anyone to recognize Him ,31 because he was instructing his disciples ; and he was telling them , “The Son of Man will be delivered into the hands of man ; and they will kill Him ; and three days after he has been put to death he shall rise .32 But they did not understand His words , and they were afraid to question Him .

33 And they came to Capernaum . And when he was in the house he asked them ,34 “What were you discussing while on the road ?” But they kept silent ; because they had been discussing which of them was the greatest while on the road .35 So sitting down , He called the Twelve and said to them , “If anyone wants to be first , he must make himself the last of all and the servant of all .”36 And taking a little child , He set him in their midst , and embracing him , He said to them ,37 “Whosoever should welcome one of these little children in My Name , welcomes Me ; and whosoever should welcome Me , welcomes not Me but The One Who Sent Me .”

38 John said to Him , “Master , we saw someone [who is not a follower like us] casting out spirits

in your name , and because he was not a follower like us we also tried to stop him .”39 But Jesus said , “You must not stop him . For no one who shall work a power in my name in the next moment , is also likely to speak evil of me.40 For whosoever is not against us , is for us .’41 For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in that you bear the name of The Anointed One , then I tell you truly , that he will most certainly not lose his reward .

42 But whosoever shall offend one of these little ones who have faith [in me] , it would be much betterfor him , if he had been thrown into the sea with an asses millstone hung around his neck .43 And should your hand offend you , cut it off ; it is better for you to enter into life crippled , 44 than to have two hands and go to the valley of Hinnom , into the Fire that is Unquenchable .45 And should your foot offend you , cut it off ; it is better for you to enter into life lame ,46 than to have two feet and be thrown into the valley of Hinnom .47 And should your eye offend you , tear it out ; it is better for you to enter into The Kingdom of God having one eye , than to have two eyes and be thrown into the valley of Hinnom , 48 [where , their worm does not die and the Fire is Unquenched . [Isaiah 66:24] ]49 For all shall be Salted with Fire. [And every Sacrifice will be Salted with Salt .] 50 Salt is Good , but should Salt has become unSalty , in what can you rejuvenate it ? Have Salt in yourselves and be at Peace with one another .

Chapter 10

1 And leaving there , He came to the district of Judaea and the far side of the Jordan .And again crowds gathered around Him , and again he taught them , as his custom was . 2 And Pharisees approached him asking if it was lawful for a man to divorce his wife , as they were testing Him . 3 Then Jesus answered saying to them , “What did Moses command you ?”4 Then they answered , “Moses allowed us to draw up a document of dismissal and so to divorce”.5 Then Jesus said to them , “It was because of your hard-hearts , that he wrote this command for you .

6 But from The Beginning of The Foundation He made them masculine-and-feminine .7 For the sake of this a man must leave his father and mother [and shall Cleave to his wife] .8 Therefore , the two shall be United into One flesh . So that , in no way are they two , but One flesh .9 Therefore , whatsoever God has Joined-Together , man must not separate .”

10 And back in the house the disciples questioned Him about this . 11 He answered them , “The man who divorces his wife and marries another , commits adultery with her .’12 And if she divorces her husband to marry another , she commits adultery .”

13 And they were bringing children to Him , in order for Him to touch them . But the disciples were turning them away . 14 But when Jesus saw this He became discontented and said to them , “Let the children come to Me ; do not hinder them ; for The Kingdom of God belongs to such as these .15 I tell you truly , whosoever shall not welcome The Kingdom of God , like a child , will never enter It .”16 Then He embraced them , laid His hands on them and He Blessed them .’

17 And He was setting out on a journey when a man ran up , knelt before him and put this question to Him , “Good master , what must I do in order to inherit Eternal Life ?”18 Then Jesus said to him , “Why do you call me Good ? No one is Good except The One God .19 You know The Commandments : You must not kill , You must not commit adultery , You must not steal , You must not be a false witness , You must not cheat ; Honor your father and mother .”20 Then he replied to Him , “Master , I have guarded all these from my youth .”21 Jesus then looked steadily at him Being Well-Disposed to him , and said to him , “There is one aspect that you are in need of . Go , sell everything that you own and give it to the poor , and you will have your Treasure in Heaven ; then come here , to follow me .”22 But his face fell at these words and he went away grieving ; for he was in possession of great wealth .

23 Jesus looked around and said to His disciples , “How difficult it is for those who possess riches to enter into The Kingdom of God !”24 Then the disciples were astounded by His statement . But Jesus spoke again , saying to them ,

“My children , how difficult is it to enter into The Kingdom of God ? 25 It is more easy for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle , than for the wealthy to enter The Kingdom of God .”26 They were extraordinarily perplexed , saying to each another , “In that case , who can be Saved ?”27 Jesus gazed at them , and said , “For men , it is impossible , but not for God : because all is possible for God !”28 Peter began to say to Him , “Look , we have left everything and followed You !”29 Jesus said , “I tell you truly , there is no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or land for the sake of Me and for the sake of The Good Message ,30 who will not fail to receive a hundred times over , now in this present Age , houses , brothers , sisters , mothers , children and land , along with persecutions , and in the Age to come , Eternal Life .31 Therefore , many who are first will be last , and the last first .”

32 Then they were on the road , going up to Jerusalem ; and Jesus was walking on ahead of them ; and they were in a daze , but those who followed were apprehensive . Once more taking aside The Twelve , he began to tell them what was going to happen to Him :33 “You see that we are going up into Jerusalem , and The Son of Man is about to be handed over to the chief priests and the scribes , and they will condemn Him to death and will hand Him over to the gentiles , 34 who will mock Him and spit at Him and scourge Him and put Him to death ; and after three days He shall rise ”.

35 And James and John , the sons of Zebedee , approached Him , and said to Him , “Master , we wish You to do for us as we ask .”36 Then He said to them , “What do you want me to do for you ?”37 They said to Him , “Allow us to sit one at Your Right Hand and the other at Your Left in Your Glory .”38 Then Jesus said to them , “You do not know what you are asking . Are you able drink the cup that I drink , or be Baptized with The Baptism that I am Baptized with ?”

39 Then they replied to Him , “We are able .” Then Jesus said to them , “The cup that I drink , you shall drink and with the baptism with which I am baptized , you shall be baptized ,40 but the seats at my right hand or my left , are not mine to give ; but (belong) to those for whom they have been Prepared .”’41 And when The Ten heard this they began to get angry with James and John . 42 So Jesus called them and said to them , “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles , lord it over them , and their great men exercise their authority over them .43 But this manner is not to happen among you . But whosoever shall want to become great among you ’will be your servant , 44 and whosoever shall want to be first among you , will be the slave of all .45 And since The Son of Man did not come to be served , but to Serve , (Just as an Art/Artist-Rep341) and to give His Soul as Ransom for the sake of many .”46 And they came into Jericho . And as he left from Jericho with his disciples and a large crowd , Bartimaeus , the son of Timaeus) , a blind beggar , was sitting beside the road .47 And hearing that it was Jesus The Nazarene , he began to shout and to say , “Jesus , Son of David , have mercy on me !”48 And many of them scolded him in order to keep him quiet ; but he only shouted all the louder , “Son of David , have mercy on me !”49 And Jesus stopped and said , “Call him .” So they called the blind man , saying to Him , “Take Courage , get up , He calls you .” 50 So he threw off his mantle , jumped up and went to Jesus .51 Then Jesus questioned him saying , “What would you have me do for you ?” Then the blind man said to Him , “Master , let me see !”52 Then Jesus said to him , “Go , your Trust has Saved you .” And immediately he could see and followed Him in the journey .Chapter 11

1 And when they were approaching Jerusalem , at Bethphage and Bethany , towards the Mount of Olives , He sent two of his disciples and said to them ,

2 “Go to the village ahead of you , and as soon as you enter it you will find a tethered young horse upon which no man has yet sat on . Untie it and bring it here .3 And should anyone say to you , ‘Why are you doing this ?’ say , ‘The Master has need of it , and will send it back here directly’.”4 And they went and found the young horse tethered by a door in the open street and untied it .5 And , some men standing there said to them , “What are you doing , untying that colt ?”6 Then they answered them in the way that Jesus said , and they were released .7 Then they took the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks on it , and He sat on it .’8 And many spread their cloaks on the road , but others , greenery which they had cut in the fields .9 And those who went in front and those who followed were shouting , “Hosanna (Save!)! Blessed is He , who comes in the name of the Lord!10 Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David ! Save in the highest !”11 And He entered into Jerusalem and went into the Temple and looked all around , but being already late in the day , He went out into Bethany with The Twelve .12 And next day as they were leaving from Bethany , he felt hungry .13 And seeing a fig tree in leaf some distance away , he went to see if he could find any fruit on it , and when he came up to it he found nothing but leaves ; for it was not the season for figs .’14 And He addressed the fig tree , saying to it , “May no one ever eat fruit from you in this Age .” And his disciples heard Him .15 And they arrived in Jerusalem . And He went into the Temple and began driving out those who were selling and buying in the Temple ; overturning the tables of the money changers and the chairs of those who were selling pigeons ,16 and neither would He allow anyone to carry any merchandise through the Temple .17 So He instructed them and said to them , “Has it not been written that : My House will be called a house of prayer by all the Gentiles ? Isaiah 56:7 But you have made it a den of robbers .”

18 And hearing this , the chief priests and the scribes , tried to find some way of killing Him ; for they were afraid of Him , because all the crowd was being driven away by His teaching . 19 And when evening came , He went out of the city .20 And in the morning , as they passed by , they saw the fig tree withered to the roots .21 Peter remembered and said to Him , “Master look , the fig tree which you cursed has withered away .”22 And Jesus answered and said him ,“Have Trust in God . 23 I tell you truly , that whosoever should say to this mountain , ‘Get up and throw yourself into the sea , with no hesitation in his heart , but Trusting that what he says will happen , it will be done for him .24 Through this , I tell you : everything you pray and ask for , Trust that you have it already , and it will be yours.25 And when you stand in Prayer , Let-go of whatever you have against anybody , 26 in order that your Father in The Heavens may Let-go your failings also for you .”27 And they came to Jerusalem again , and as He was walking in the Temple , the chief priests and the scribes and the elders came to him , 28 and said to Him , “Under what authority do you do these things ? Or who gave you this authority to do these things ?”29 But Jesus said to them , “I will ask you one question , now answer me and I will tell you under what authority I do these things .30 Was the baptism of John from Heaven , or from man ? Answer me !”31 But they discussed it amongst themselves saying : “If we say , ‘From Heaven’ , He will say , ‘Through what then did you not Trust in him ?’32 But what if we say ‘From man’ ?” Being afraid of the crowd , for everyone held that John was truly a prophet .33 So their reply to Jesus was , “We do not know .” And Jesus said to them , “Neither will I tell you under what authority I do these things .”Chapter 12

1 Then he began to speak to them in parables . “A man planted a vineyard , and put a fence around it , dug a pit for the wine press , and built a watchtower ;

then he rented it to farmers and went away on a journey .2 And at harvest time he sent a servant to the farmers to collect from the farmers his share of the produce of the vineyard .3 Then they seized him , and beat him , and sent him away empty-handed .4 And again he sent another servant to them ; this one they beat over the head and insulted .5 Then he sent another . This one they killed . And so it was with many others ; some of which , on the one hand they beat , but others they killed .6 Yet , He had One Beloved Son . At last , He sent Him to them , saying that , ‘They will respect My Son’.7 But those farmers said to one another that , ‘This is the heir ; come , let us kill him , and the inheritance will be ours .’8 So they seized and killed him , and threw him out of the vineyard .9 What [then] will the master of the vineyard do ? He will come and destroy the farmers and give the vineyard to others.10 Have you not read this scripture : ‘The Stone which the builders rejected , This has gone into The Crowning Measure ;11 This has become The Lord’s Issue , and She is Marvellous in our eyes’ ?”

12 And they looked [for a way] to arrest Him , for they recognized that He had directed the parable at them , but they feared the crowd . So they left him and went away .13 Then they sent to Him some Pharisees and some Herodians to ensnare Him , in what He said .14 And they came saying to him , “Teacher , we know that you are sincere , and that you show deference to no one ; for you do not show regard to men of substance , but you teach the way of god in accordance with truth . Is it lawful to pay taxes to Ceasar , or not ?”’’“ Should we pay them , or should we not pay them ?” 15 But Jesus knowing their hypocrisy , said to them , “Why do you test me ? Bring me a denarion so that I may show you .”16 So they brought one . Then he said to them , “Whose image is this , and whose title ?”

They answered him , “Ceasar’s .”17 Then Jesus said to them , “Give to Ceasar that which is Ceasar’s , and to God that which is God’s.” And they were utterly amazed at him .’18 And Sadducdees , who say there is no resurrection , came to him and questioned him saying 19 “Teacher , Moses wrote for us that if someone’s brother dies , and leaves a wife but leaves no child , the brother shall marry the widow and raise up children for his brother .20 There were seven brothers ; and the first married the widow and when he died , left no children , 21 and the second married her and died , leaving behind no children ; and the third likewise . 22 So none of the seven left children . Last of all the woman herself died .23 In the resurrection [when they are raised] whose wife will she be ? For the seven had married her .”24 Jesus said to them , “Not through this are you in error ; neither knowing the scriptures nor The Power of God ?25 For when they rise from the dead , neither are they married nor are they given in marriage , but exist like Angels in The Heavens .26 And as for the dead being raised , have you not read in the book of Moses , in the story about the bush , how God spoke to him saying , “I am the God of Abraham , the God of Isaac , and the God of Jacob?x. 3: 6 27 He is God not of the dead , but of The Living . You are very much in error .”28 One of the scribes approaching near heard them disputing with one another , and seeing that He answered them well , he questioned Him , “Which commandment is the first of all ?”29 Jesus answered that , “The first is , ‘Hear , Israel : The Lord our God , is One Master ; 30 so you shall be Well-Disposed to the Lord your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul , and with your whole understanding , and with your whole strength .’Deu. 6 : 4 , 531 The second is this , ‘You shall be Well-Disposed to your neighbor as to yourself .’ Lev. 19:18There is no other commandment greater than these .”32 Then the scribe said to him , “Well said , Teacher , in accordance with truth you said that He is One , ’

and besides Him there is no other ;33 and to be Well-disposed towards Him with the whole heart , and with the whole understanding , and with the whole strength , and to be Well-disposed towards one’s neighbor as towards oneself , this is much more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices .”34 And Jesus seeing that he answered intelligently said to him “You are not far from the kingdom of God.”And after that no one dared question him .”

35 While Jesus was teaching in the temple , he answered saying , “How can the scribes say that The Anointed is the son of David ?36 David himself , Inspired by The Holy Spirit declared , ‘The Lord said to my Lord ; Sit at My right hand , until I may put your enemies under your feet .’ ”PS 110 : 1 37 “David himself calls Him Lord ; so how is He his son ?” The large crowd listening to him with delight .

38 And in his teaching he said , “Beware of the scribes , who like to walk around in long robes and are greeted with respect in the marketplaces ,39 and to have the best seats in the synagogues and places of honor at banquets , 40 while they devour widows houses and for the sake of appearance say long prayers . These very ones , will receive the greater condemnation .”

41 And while sitting down opposite the treasury , He watched as the crowd put money into the treasury . And many rich people put in large sums.42 A singular poor widow came and put in two copper coins , which are worth a penny .43 Then He summoned His disciples and said to them , “I tell you truly , that this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the treasury .”44 “For all of them , have contributed out of their super-abundance ; but she , out of her poverty , has put in everything she had , all she had to live on .”

“Teacher , look what large stones and what large buildings !”2 And Jesus said to him , “You see these great buildings ? Not a single stone will be left here on another one ; which will not be destroyed .”

3 And while He was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite to the temple , Peter , James , John and Andrew questioned Him privately ,’4 “Tell us , when this will be , and what sign , that this is fulfilled , when all this happens ?”

5 Then Jesus began to say to them , “Pay attention that no one leads you astray .6 Many will come using my name and saying that , ‘I am he ,’ and they will lead astray many .

7 But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars , do not be alarmed ; this must necessarily come to pass , but the end will not be yet .’8 For tribe will fight against tribe , and kingdom against kingdom . There will be earthquakes in various places ; there will be famines . This is the beginning of the birth pangs .9 Therefore , as for yourselves , pay attention , they will hand you over to the council ; and to the synagogues to be scourged , and you will be stood before leaders and kings for my sake,to bear witness to them .10 For the Good Message must first be proclaimed to all the nations .11 And when they lead you away to hand you over , do not worry beforehand about what to say ; but say that which will be given to you in that hour ; for it will not be you who will be speaking : ’but it will be the Holy Spirit . 12 And brother will hand over brother to death , and the father his child ; and children will rise against their parents and have them put to death .13 And you will be hated by all on account of my name ; but whosoever stands firm to the end this very person will be saved .

14 But when you see the loathsomeness of desolation set up where it should not be

let the reader understand , at that time those in Judaea must flee into the mountains ;15 But he on the housetop , must not come down to go into the house to remove any of his things :16 And he in the fields, must not return again to fetch his cloak . 17 But woe to those that are pregnant , and to those that are breastfeeding , in those days !18 But pray that this may not be in winter .19 For in those days there will be such distress such as , until now , has not been from ’the beginning of creation , which was created by God , nor will there ever be .20 And if The Lord had not shortened those days , no flesh at all would have been saved ; but the days were shortened , for the sake of the elect whom He chose .21 And if anyone says to you then , ‘Look , here is the Anointed’ , ‘Look , He is there ,’ do not Trust in it ;22 for false christs and false prophets will arise and produce signs and portents , to try to lead astray the elect , as if that were possible .23 Therefore you must pay attention : I have forewarned you of everything .24 But in those days, after those days of distress , The Sun will be darkened , The Moon will not give Her Light 25 and The Stars will come falling from Heaven and the powers in The Heavens will be shaken . Is 13:1026 And at that time they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great Power and Glory ;27 And at that time He will send the Angels and gather his Elect from the four winds , from the ends of the Earth as far as to the uppermost Heaven .’ 28 Thus , learn from the parable from the fig tree : As soon as its twigs become supple and its leaves come out , you will recognize that summer is near .29 In the same way with you when you see these things happening : know that He is near at the very gates .30 I tell you truly , that this generation will not pass away until all these things will have taken place .31 Heaven and Earth will pass away , but My Words will not pass away .32 But concerning those days or those hours , no one knows exactly , neither the Angels in Heaven , nor The Son ; no one except The Father .33 Pay attention , stay awake , because you not know exactly when that season is .

34 It is like a man traveling abroad : he leaves home , and gives his servants the authority ; each to his own task ; and enjoins the doorkeeper to stay awake .35 Therefore stay awake ; because you do not know exactly when the master of the house is coming , whether evening , or midnight , or cockcrow , or dawn ;36 if he comes unexpectedly he must not find you asleep .37 Thus what I say to you , I say to all : Stay awake !”

Chapter 14

1 Then it was two days until the Passover and the festival of Unleavened Bread . The chief priests and the scribes were searching for a way to arrest Him by treachery to kill him ; 2 for they said , “Not during the festival , for there must not be a riot of the people .”3 And while He was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper , as he sat at the table , a woman came with a jar of alabaster , containing a very costly Ointment of pure nard [Himalayan plant] , working-round the alabaster jar thoroughly-covering his head . 4 But there were some who angrily said to one another , “Why waste this Ointment wasted in this way ?5 For this ointment could have been sold for more than three hundred denarii , [1 denarius = 1 day’s wage]25 silver denarii = 1 gold denarius] and donated to the poor !” So they scolded her .6 But Jesus said , “Leave her be ! Why make trouble for her ? She has performed a Good Deed for Me .7 For you will always have the poor with you , and you can show them kindness whenever you wish ; ’but you will not always have Me .8 She has done that which she could ; she has anointed My body in preparation , for its burial .9 Therefore , I tell you truly , wherever The Good Message may be proclaimed in The Whole Kosmos , what she has done , will be told in Remembrance of her .”10 Then Judas Iscariot who was one of The Twelve , went to the chief priests in order to betray Him to them .

11 When they heard it , they were greatly pleased , and promised to give him silver . Thus he searched for an “opportunity” to betray Him .

12 On the first day of Unleavened Bread , when the Passover lamb is sacrificed , his disciples said to him , “Where do you want us to go and make the preparations for you to eat the Passover ?”13 So he sent two of his disciples , and said to them , “Go into the city , and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you ; follow him ,14 and wherever he may enter , say to the owner of the house that , “The Teacher asks , Where is my guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples ?”15 And he will show you a large upper-room , furnished and ready . Make preparations there for us .”16 So the disciples set out and went to the city , and found everything as he had told them ; and they prepared the Passover .17 When it became evening , He arrived with The Twelve .18 While they had taken their places and were eating , Jesus said , “I tell you truly , that one of you will betray me , one who is eating with me .”’19 They began to be distressed and to say to him one after another , “Surely not I ?”20 Then He said to them , “It is one of The Twelve , one who is dipping bread into the bowl with me .’21 That on the one hand , the Son of Man does as it is written about Him , but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed ! It would have been better if that man would not have been born .”22 While they were eating , He took a loaf of bread , while blessing it He broke it , and gave it to them , and said , “Take ; this is My body .”23 Then taking a cup , while giving thanks He gave it to them , and all of them drank from it .24 He said to them , “This is My Blood of The New Disposition , that is Poured-out for the sake of many .25 I tell you truly , that I will never again drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink It New in The Kingdom of God .”26 When they had sung the hymn , they went out to the Mount of Olives .

27 And Jesus said to them that , “All of you will take offense ; for it is written , “I will strike the Shepherd , and the herd will be scattered .”28 But after the arousal of me , I will go before you to Galilee .”29 Then Peter said to Him , “Even if all will become offended , still I will not .”’30 And Jesus said to him , “I tell you truly , that today , this very night , indeed , before the cock sounds-off twice , thrice you will utterly deny me .”31 But he insisted emphatically , “Even though I must die with you , in no way will I deny you .” Then all of them also replied in the same way .32 And they went to a place called Gethsemane and he said to his disciples , “Sit here while I pray.”33 And He brought along Peter and James and John with Him, and began to be amazed and very troubled .’34 And he said to them , “My Soul is over-sorrowed , even to death ; remain here , and stay awake !”35 And going a little-further , He threw Himself upon The Earth and asked that , if it were possible , the hour pass-beside from him.’36 And He said , “Abba , Father , for Thee , all is possible ; Let this cup pass beside Me ; ’yet , not what I want , but what you want .”37 And He came and found them sleeping ; and He said to Peter , “Simon , are you asleep ? You had not the strength to stay awake for one hour ?38 Stay awake and pray , in order that you may not come into the time of trial ; for on the one hand , the breath is eager , but on the other hand , the flesh is weak .”39 And again He went and Prayed , saying The Same Speech .40 And once more He came and found them sleeping , for their eyes were very heavy ; and they were not alarmed in so far as what to answer Him .41 And He came a third time and said to them , “You slept the time that remained and took your rest : Enough ! The hour has come ; Behold , The Son of Man is betrayed into the hands of wrong-doers .42 Wake up , let us go . Behold , he that betrayed Me , is at hand .”43 And immediately , while He was still speaking , Judas , one of The Twelve , arrived ;

and with him a crowd with swords and clubs , besides the chief priests and the scribes and the elders .’44 Then the betrayer himself had given them a sign , saying , “The one which I will kiss , is Him ; arrest Him and lead Him away under guard .”45 So arriving , he went up to Him immediately and said , “Master !” and kissed Him .46 Then they laid hands on Him and arrested Him .

47 But one of those who stood near , drew his sword struck the slave of the high priest , and cut off his ear. 48 Then Jesus replied saying to them , “You have come out with swords and clubs to apprehend me , as though upon a bandit ?49 Day after day I was with you in the temple teaching , and you would not arrest me . ’But in order that the scriptures Be Fulfilled : ’ 50 Therefore , ‘All fled , giving Him up ’ .”

51 And a certain young man following closely together with Him (wrapped in a linen cloth 52 upon his nakedness) they seized him also ; but he left the linen cloth fleeing naked . 53 And they took Jesus to the high priest ; and all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes were assembled . 54 And Peter had been following Him from a long distance , right into the courtyard of the high priest ; and he was sitting together with the guards , and warming himself at the light . 55 Then the chief priests and the whole council were searching for testimony against Jesus to put Him to death ; but they found none . 56 For many gave false testimony against him , but their testimony did not agree . ’57 And Some stood up and gave false testimony against him , saying 58 that “We heard him say that , I will destroy this temple that is made with hands , and by three days I will build another , but not hand-made .”

39

59 But neither on this point did their testimony agree . 60 Then the high priest stood up in the middle of them asking Jesus saying , “Have you nothing to answer ? What do these men testify against you ?” 61 But He was silent and did not answer anything . Again the high priest questioned and asked Him ,“Are You The Christ , The Son of The Blessed One ?” 62 Then Jesus said , “I am ; and , you will see The Son of Man Seating at The Right Hand of The Power and Coming with The Clouds of Heaven .”

63 Then the high priest ripped-off His clothes saying , “Why do we still have need of witnesses ? 64 You have heard His blasphemy ! How does it appear to you ?” Then all of them condemned Him as being liable of death . 65 And some began to spit at Him and to blindfold His face to strike Him and to say to Him , “Prophesy (who hit you) !” Then the guards took over beating Him . 66 While Peter was below in the courtyard , one of the servant-girls of the high priest came by . 67 And seeing Peter warming himself , she stared at him and said , “You also were with Jesus of Nazareth .” 68 But he denied it , saying , “I do not know or understand what you are talking about .” And he went outside into the forecourt . [Then the cock sounded-off] . 69 And the servant-girl , on seeing him , began again to say to the bystanders , “This man is one of them .” 70 But again he denied it . Then after a little while the bystanders again said to Peter , “Truly you are one of them ; for you are also Galilean .” 71 But he began to curse , and he swore that , “I do not know this man whom you are talking about !” 72 At immediately the cock sounded-off the second time . Then Peter remembered what Jesus had said to him that “Before the cock crows twice , thrice will you utterly-deny Me .” And he broke down weeping .

Chapter 15

1 And as soon as it was morning , the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and the scribes and the whole council , bound Jesus , led Him away , and handed Him over to Pilate .

2 And Pilate asked Him , “Are you the King of the Jews ?” Then He answered him saying , “You say so .” 3 Then the chief priests accused him of many things . 4 Then Pilate asked Him again , “Have you no answer ? Look how many charges they bring against you !” 5 But Jesus made not one further reply , so that Pilate was amazed . 6 Now during the festival he would release one prisoner to them , for whom they requested . 7 Then a man called Barabbas was imprisoned with the rebels who had committed murder during the insurrection .

8 So the crowd came-up and began to ask for him to do for them according to his custom . 9 Then Pilate answered them saying , “Do you want me to release to you The King of the Jews ?” 10 For he realized that it was out of jealousy that the chief priests had handed Him over . 11 But the chief priests stirred up the crowd in order to have him release Barabbas to them instead . 12 But Pilate answered them again saying , “What then , do you wish that I should do [with whom you call] The King of the Jews ?” 13 Then they shouted back-again , “Crucify Him !” 14 But Pilate asked them ,“Why ! What evil has He done ?” But they shouted even more ,“Crucify Him !” 15 Then Pilate , wishing to satisfy the crowd , made the release of Barabbas to them ; and handed-over Jesus to be scourged in order to be crucified . 16 Then the generals led him outside of the palace , which is the praetorium [the quarters of the bodyguards] ; and they called together the whole cohort . 17 And they clothed Him in a purple cloak and twisting-round some thorns into a crown ,they placed it upon Him . 18 And they began saluting Him , “Hail , King of the Jews !” 19 Then they struck His head with a cane and spat upon Him and falling on their knees “paid homage” to Him . 20 And when they had mocked Him, they stripped Him of the purple cloak and put His own clothes on Him . Then they led Him out in order to crucify Him .

21 And they compelled a passer-by to carry His cross , a certain Simon the Cyrene , the father of Alexander and Rufus , who was coming in from the country . ’22 Then they brought Him to the place called Golgotha , which being translated means The Place of The Skull . 23 And they offered Him wine mixed with myrrh ; but of which He did not partake . 24 And they crucified Him , and they divided His clothes , by casting lots to decide what item of His , each would take .’25 Then it was in the third hour (9AM) when they crucified Him . 26 And the inscription of the charge against him was inscribed , “The King of the Jews.” 27 And together with Him they crucified two bandits , one on His right and one on His left . 28 And the scripture was Fulfilled that says , “And He was counted among the lawless .” Is 53:1229 Those who passed by , blasphemed Him , shaking their heads and saying , “Aha ! He who would destroy the temple and build it in three days , 30 save yourself by coming down from the cross !” 31 In the same way the chief priests , along with the scribes were also mocking Him among themselves saying , “He saved others ; yet he cannot save himself ; 32 the Anointed ! the king of Israel ! Come down from the cross now , so that we may see and trust !” And those who were crucified along with him also reproached Him . 33 When it became the sixth hour (12PM) ,it became dark over The Whole Earth until the ninth hour (3PM) . ’34 And in the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice , “Eloi , eloi , lema sabachthani ?” which being translated means , “O My God , O My God , why have you left me behind ?” 35 When some of the bystanders heard it they said , “Listen , he calls for Elijah .” 36 Then someone ran [and] filled a sponge with vinegar put it on a cane and offered it to him saying , “Wait , let us see whether Elijah comes to take Him down .” 37 Then Jesus gave a loud cry as He expired .

38 Then the curtain of the temple was torn in two , from top to bottom . ’39 Then the centurion , who was standing opposite to Him , seeing that He expired in this way said , “Truly this man was God’s Son !” 40 But there were also women observing from a distance ; among which were Mary the Magdalene and Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joset and Salome . 41 The women who followed Him and provided for Him whenever He was in Galilee ; and there were many other women who had come up together with Him to Jerusalem . 42 By this time evening had come , and since it was the day of Preparation , that is , the day before The Sabbath , 43 Joseph of Arimathea , arrived , a respected member of the council , who was also himself waiting expectantly for the kingdom of God , boldly went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus .44 Then Pilate wondered if He were already dead ; and summoning the centurion , asked him whether He had been dead for some time . 45 When he got news from the centurion , He granted the corpse to Joseph . 46 Then buying a linen cloth took Him down wrapped Him in the linen cloth and laid Him in a tomb which was hewn out of the rock and rolled a stone in front of the door of the tomb . 47 And Mary the Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joset saw where He was laid .

Chapter 16

1 When The Sabbath was over , Mary the Magdalene , and Mary the mother of James and Salome bought aromatics so that they might go and anoint Him . 2 And early in the morning of the first day of The Sabbath at the rising of The Sun they went to the tomb . 3 And they had been saying to one another , “Who will roll away the stone for us away from the door of the tomb ?” 4 When they looked up , they saw that the stone , which was very large , had already been rolled back . 5 And as they entered into the tomb , they saw a young man , looking admirable in a white robe ,

sitting on the right side , and they were alarmed .6 But He said to them , “Do not be alarmed ; you search for Jesus The Nazarene who was crucified . He has been raised ; He is not here . Look , at the place they laid Him .7 But go , tell his disciples and Peter that ‘He is going ahead of you to Galilee .’ there you will see Him, just as He told you .” 8 So they went out fleeing from the tomb , for trembling and ecstasy had seized them ; and they said nothing to anyone , for they were afraid .

Some of the most ancient authorities bring the book to a close at this point , others have the following : [[Then all that had been commanded of them they told briefly to those around Peter . But afterward Jesus himself sent out through them , from the east of the rising sun , to the ’farthest reaches of the west , The Sacred and Imperishable Proclamation of Eternal Salvation . Amen]]

The Longer Ending of MarkThe earliest manuscripts and some other ancient witnesses do not have MARK 16 , 9-20

[[[9 Then arising early on the first day of the Sabbath , He appeared first to Mary the Magdalene , from whom he had cast out seven spirits .’10 That one Was Carried Proclaiming to those who had been with Him ’when they were mourning and weeping .11 But those hearing that He was Alive and had been seen by her , were untrusting .’12 But after this He appeared in another Form , to two of them , as they were walking Being Carried into the country .13 And those went back proclaiming to the rest ; but those did not Trust them .14 But later He appeared to The Dedicated Eleven themselves ; and He reproached their lack of Trust and hardened-hearts because they had not trusted those who saw Him when He had Arisen . 15 And he said to them , “Be Carried into all The Kosmos Proclaiming The Good Message to All The Creation . 16 The one who Trusts and is Baptized will be Saved ; but the one who does not Trust will be condemned .
