KARNATAKA ASSOCIATION OF AUTONOMOUS BUSINESS SCHOOLS (KAABS)

The Karnataka Association of Autonomous Business Schools (KAABS) has been registered under Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1860 on 5th April 2012 with the main objectives to take every step required for promoting and safeguarding the common interests of the member-institutions including facilitating research work collectively to enhance the quality of post graduate management programmes, bring in transparency and quality of governance in the functioning of member institutions, organize national and international level conferences, symposia and brainstorming sessions involving concerned professionals, students and industry associations for the advancement of Post Graduate Management Programmes. Founding members of KAABS consist of eminent personalities across management institutions under the advice of Prof. J. Philip, President, XIME. The firs office bearers of KAABS are Dr. V. G. Natarajan, Director, T.A.Pai Management Institute, Manipal & Vice President, KAABS; Dr. Gopal Iyengar, Director, Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies, Harihar; Dr. N. R. Parasuraman, Director, SDM Institute for Management Development, Mysore; Dr. B. P. Pethiya, Fr. Director, The Institute of Finance and International Management (IFIM), Bangalore, Dr. Subhash Sharma, Director, Indian Business Academy, Bangalore; and Dr. S. D. Tyagaraj, Dean, XIME, Bangalore & Member-Secretary, KAABS. XIME & ABBS, Bangalore, January 30-31, 2014 at XIME, Bangalore. The countries represented were US, China, Australia, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Russia, Bangladesh and India.

First Indian B-Schools Summit jointly with IAABS, 9th & 10th October 2015 at XIME-Bengaluru.

FDP on “Case Writing, Teaching and Research” in collaboration with XIME, 23rd & 25th November, 2016 at XIME-Bengaluru.
