Paper choice is an important part of successful printing. Paper density and paper finish are the 2 important aspects to consider for a desired paper quality for printing. Paper density refers to thickness and it is measured in GSM. The higher GSM equates to a thicker paper which gives a more professional look. Thus adding thickness to your paper can lend credibility and esteem; however, it all depends on the purpose that the paper is used.

ASPECTS OF PAPER.

Page 5: Kapadia brochure

PAGE 04

Paper is manufactured in the paper mills from rags, grass, straws and bamboo. Using wood directly or indirectly to make paper is a global practice. Even non-wood fibres such as recycled fibres, cotton, linen, hemp, wool, etc. are used to make paper. Waste paper is also used in the process.

Similarly, coated, uncoated and untreated papers have their own roles in print production. Moreover, paper grade, paper basis weight, paper grammage are some extended criteria for the choice of good paper for printing.

Equally, paper characteristic is determined by the quantity of ink that will penetrate its surface or the rate at which ink will penetrate a paper’s surface. For precision in printing, the paper must be absorbent enough to prevent patches or ink drying before absorption.

To get the finest quality printing paper for optimum standards in printing, the use of raw material plays a great role in paper production. Good paper is something that is manufactured with a cleaner, greener and an efficient paper production process. Sona Commercial and hence Kapadia Enterprise provides the finest quality printing paper that is imported from renowned international paper mills where all the possible measures are taken for maintenance of quality, preservation of nature, restoration of forest and thus taking care of the environment.

At Kapadia Enterprise all the minutest aspects of a good paper are carefully assessed to help successful printing, and this is the reason why they are the most recommended and preferred paper suppliers.

Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international not-for-profit, multi-stakeholder organization established in 1993 to promote responsible management of the world’s forests. The FSC label guarantees that the trees that are harvested are replaced or allowed to regenerate naturally. FSC is the only wood certification scheme endorsed by the major environmental charities, including WWF, Greenpeace and The Woodland Trust. FSC protects the rights of indigenous people to use the forest. FSC gives an assurance that future generations will be able to enjoy the benefits of the forest. FSC is

a market-based initiative which also ensures better conditions for the forest and the people whose livelihoods depend on it.
