A Friendly Reminder to Hunters on USACE Managed Land
1. Operation and/or parking of a vehicle off authorized roadways is prohibited. Do not enter or proceed past any gates open or closed with any vehicle. Wildlife areas are walk-in only.
2. The cutting of trees and/or tree limbs is not permitted.
3. Permanent hunting stands or blinds are not permitted, refer to the hunting equipment policy for more information.
4. All garbage, trash, or any other waste must be removed from project lands or deposited in appropriate receptacles.
5. Stands, climbing devices, bow hangers, etc., cannot be screwed into trees.
6. Private lands border public areas. Know your boundaries and do not trespass.
7. Camping is available at Riverside and Venango Park. Campgrounds have reduced amenities during the dates listed below. Riverside Park is the only campground with electrical available at campsites year round.Venango October 1 to April 30, Riverside September 16 to April 30.
8. No camping allowed on Public lands.
9. Commercial guiding is prohibited on USACE lands.

Regulations• Hunting is permitted on U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) managed lands and water except for those areas designated as closed to hunting.
• All applicable Federal and State game laws apply to USACE land.
• All tree stands, blinds and game cameras require a FREE permit to be visibly attached at all times. Permits available at the Project Office.
• All hunters are required to unload their firearms and keep the action in the open position while within any area identified as prohibited to hunting. Any hunter found with a loaded firearm within a prohibited area will be presumed as being actively engaged in hunting.
• Furharvsting (FH) is prohibited in all USACE parks (Riverside, Venango, and Administration areas). Property outside of USACE Parks that is open to hunting is also open to FH. All FH must comply with federal and state game laws.
• Hunting and FH are prohibited within a 100 feet from the shoreline of any no hunting area.
• Baiting game of any kind is prohibited this includes but not limited to: corn/crop residue, feed mixes, mineral blocks, or liquid supplements.

• Dam: upstream and downstream slopes of the dam.
• Riverside and Venango Park
• Administration Area: including the outlet area
