    & reinforce chn to identify it correctly

    5. Explain & discuss about e job of e people mentioned6. Ask chn to share about their parents occupation &

    how do their parents help e community

    Procedures:

    Tune in: Intro & define Chef to chn

    1. Explain about e job & uniform of a Chef2. Display materials to chn & explain that we are

    going to be a baker & make bakers hat

    3. Demo to chn to fold a piece of paper & glue eend part of folded paper

    4. Encourage chn to use marker to design theirname on their hat e.g. Chef Danielle etc

    5. Allow chn to use other art materials to decoratetheir hats if they wish to

    Evaluation: Chn were responsive during lesson. They

    contributed/shared different types of community

    helpers including their parents and some, their relatives.

    Evaluation: Chn showed understanding of the roles of

    a Chef. They managed to complete their art & crafts

    creatively.

    (though the shapes were not accurate)

    They also used the materials/accessories/toys

    appropriately e.g. put on necklace around the neck,

    1. Display e materials to chn & encourage them touse it to dig e sand (in sandpit) & make drain

    2. Next, ask chn to fill up e pails with water(from etap) & pour it into e drain

    3. Encourage chn to divide their job & work togethercooperatively to complete their assignment(given

    by Tr; make drain)

    Closure: Glucklich Prints Closure: Chn wash up & go back to classroom

    Evaluation: Chn participated well. They also responded

    by asking relevant/topic-related questions e.g. how

    many people are needed to build a house? how to

    put the cement? etc

    Evaluation: Chn asked to be guided to make the drain.

    However, they gradually continue digging & making

    the drain by themselves!

    Evaluation: Chn displayed understanding of the

    job/roles of doctors. Chn also stated that Doctors only

    treat people & not animals, a Vet treat animals

    Evaluation: Most of chn preferred to use the hose

    instead. However they were encouraged to use the

    pails & containers as well. Chn initiated to be the

    paramedic as well to bring the victims to hospital in

    imaginative ambulance van (They asked Tr Who are

    4. Continue by varying e number of ice cream sticks(to be counted by chn)

    1. Display & intro materials to chn2. Allow chn to use e materials provided to produce a

    Painting

    3. Encourage chn to use & explore any colours ofpaints provided

    Evaluation: Chn displayed better understanding for the

    lesson. Most of the chn managed to count in Tens with

    minimum guidance.
