The tardy bell rings at 7:30 everyday.

Students who come in after 7:30 will need to obtain a tardy slip at the front
desk before reporting to class.
Excessive tardies will also be addressed by campus administration.
ATTENDANCE
Compulsory Attendance
Good attendance, on the part of the student, is important for a well-rounded education.
State law requires children to attend school each day that instruction is provided.
The law applies to students below the age of 6 who are voluntarily enrolled in prekindergarten or kindergarten.
A case of excessive “unexcused” absences will be addressed with administration and a principal’s plan of action will be established.
90 Percent Rule
In addition to compulsory attendance law, districts are required to enforce the 90 percent rule, which states that students must attend class for 90 percent of the time it is offered to receive credit or a final grade.
The 90 percent rule applies to all absences, including excused absences. If the student doesn’t meet this requirement, an attendance committee may grant the student credit or a final grade, depending on the circumstances.
ATTENDANCE
Requirements for excused student absences:
Note from a doctor that includes exact dates
Parent note that includes the specific reason for absence (up to 3 days)
Nurse sends student home sick
Parent note verifying a death of immediate family member
Parent note verifying a religious holiday
Phone calls are not accepted for excused absences
