No. I would not want to be left behind on a island with no company or with wild dogs. Karana checks everyday for a ship because she wants to make sure that the Aleuts did not come at night.
Action: Every day Karana watches for the ship's return. Explain the motive behind the action.

Karana waits for the ship's return because she wants them to know she's there if the boat comes and mostly because she wants to get off of that island. Would you want to stay on an island with no company and hungry wild dogs? Edit | Delete | Reply
