Norwood Brogues NEW FOR 2018

We are pleased to announce that the Norwood Brogues are finally in stock! These brogues were originally unveiled at the 2016 exhibition to an overwhelmingly positive response. However, several unforeseen issues during manufacture delayed delivery until now. We would never rush a product to market that did not meet with our high standards. As such, all the issues have been resolved and we can assure you that the final product is well worth the wait.

These brogues are the first shoes on the market to incorporate both the traditional ghillie lace pattern as well as the leather tongue found on a regular day brogue. This unique design gives these fashionable brogues a versatile edge, not only can they be worn as part of your highland outfit, but they also look great worn with suits and jeans.

Each pair will come supplied with long ghillie laces/tassels as standard, with an additional pair of traditional waxed laces. Each pair neatly presented in cotton shoe bags.

These brogues are now available from stock in the following 15 UK Standard sizes:

6, 6 ½, 7, 7 ½, 8, 8 ½, 9, 9 ½, 10, 10 ½, 11, 11 ½, 12, 13, 14

The Norwood Collection - Coming Soon

The brogues are just the beginning, the best is yet to come! The aim of the Norwood Collection as a concept is to produce and supply our own complete range of unique Highlandwear in a matching shade of tan leather. Using our contacts and experience in the production of leather we will shortly be unveiling a range of Dress Sporrans, Day Sporrans, Belts, Chain straps and even Kilt Straps all made in Scotland- everything in the same shade of tan to match the brogues.

At the time this brochure went to print the designs and details of this range were still being finalised. The range will be officially launched on our Stand (E48) at the SECC in January 2018. A brand new brochure, with full details will then follow soon after in early 2018.

Our Gents Ghillie shirts are available in White, Black, Cream and Navy Blue colours, and are made from 100% heavyweight brushed polyester giving them that sought after peach/moleskin feel.

We have eight adults’ sizes available:

XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL

The shirts will come packed in a clear, unbranded polybag fitted with a robust hanging hook, perfect for point of sale display.

Each shirt will come with two, genuine leather laces as standard.

The J. Wood Leathers Serpent Collection includes a kilt buckle, kilt pin, sgian dubh and sporran which have been designed to incorporate a Celtic serpent motif that our designers have created based on imagery found in traditional Celtic art. Hire Wear Suit Bag

We are constantly striving to improve our products to ensure that customers are getting the best value for money. To that end, these bags are now stitched with Nylon thread as opposed to cotton- making them even stronger. The opening at the top of the bags where the hanger goes through, has been reinforced with additional material tape to prevent tearing.

Made from 600D Terylene, our original hire wear suit bags are built to last. All the areas which come under stress during day to day use, such as the zips and pockets have been reinforced with double stitching.

The suit carrier itself is fully gusseted, as are the two pockets which are large enough to hold all of your highland accessories, even a pair of shoes.

Also features a large, transparent plastic window for displaying customer info and outfit details.

Made from durable 600D Terylene, these suit bag & kilt roll sets have been developed as a retail version of our very successful hire wear bags. The suit bag incorporates all the same features including 2 pockets, double Nylon stitching, plastic window pocket and full gusseting etc.

The kilt roll can be clipped onto the carrier, enabling the user to carry the whole outfit together, or it can be carried separately using the adjustable shoulder strap. The kilt Roll also features a small zip-up pocket and a clear plastic window.

This suit bag and kilt roll combo set is also available with a Royal Blue Trim.

We stock a wide range of the finest quality kilt straps, available in two different finishes of genuine leather: Black Semi-Patent (shiny) or Black Smooth Corrected (dull).

** Selected straps are also available in a premium quality, black pig printed leather.

We are able to cut straps in other colours/leathers as per your requirements. However, in order to do so we would require a minimum order of 1000 straps.
