- Read through all of the instructions before beginning.- All of the seam allowances are 1/4” unless otherwise noted.- Press seam allowances open unless otherwise noted. - Width of fabric (WOF) is equal to at least 42” wide.- Right sides together has been abbreviated to RST.- Remember to measure twice and cut once!

Tip for Templates A-D: Cut WOF strips the same width as the template, then subcut the templates from the strip.

From Fabric C, cut:thirty of Template 2

From Fabric D, cut:sixty of Template 1

From Fabric E, cut:twenty of Template 4

From the Binding Fabric, cut:nine 2-1/2” x WOF strips

Step 1: Gather: one Fabric D, Template 1 one Fabric A, Template 2 one Fabric B, Template 2 one Fabric A, Template 1

Step 2: Arrange, following in the Block Assembly Diagram. Sew together, pressing the seams toward the Fabric A pieces.

Repeat to make thirty A Blocks, each 9-1/2” square.

Step 3: Gather: one Fabric D, Template 1 one Fabric A, Template 2 one Fabric C, Template 2 one Fabric A, Template 1

Step 4: Arrange, following in the Block Assembly Diagram. Sew together, pressing the seams away from the Fabric A pieces.

Repeat to make thirty B Blocks, each 9-1/2” square.

Step 5: Gather: one Fabric E, Template 4 one Fabric A, Template 3 one Fabric A, Template 3-Reversed

Step 6: Arrange, following in the Block Assembly Diagram. Sew together, pressing the seams toward the Fabric A pieces.

Repeat to make twenty C Blocks, each 9-1/2” square.

Assemble the C Blocks

Step 7: Gather two A Blocks and two B Blocks together, as shown. Note the block placement and orientation. Sew together to form two rows of two. Press seams toward the B Blocks. Sew the rows together to form the large block. Do not press the row seams yet. Repeat to make fourteen like this.

Step 8: Gather one A Block and one B Block. Sew together, as shown. Note the block placement and orientation. Sew together to form one row of two. Press seams toward the B Blocks. Repeat to make a total of two units.

Step 9: Sew fi ve completed Step 7 blocks together to form a column, noting the block orientation in the Quilt Assembly Diagram. Press the seams up. Repeat to make a second column.

Step 10: Sew four completed Step 7 blocks together to form a column. Sew a completed Step 8 unit to the top and bottom of the column noting the block orientation in the Quilt Assembly Diagram. Press the seams down.

Step 11: Sew the Step 9 columns to the left and right edges of the Step 10 column, nesting the seams and pressing the column seams open or to one side.

Step 12: Sew ten C Blocks together to form the left side column. Press the seams down. Sew to the left edge of the quilt, pressing the seam open or to one side.

Step 13: Sew ten C Blocks together to form the right side column. Press the seams down, noting the orientation of the column in the quilt. Sew to the right edge of the quilt, pressing the seam open or to one side.

Your quilt top is complete. Baste, quilt, bind and enjoy!
