We are look- ing forward to making events even better for the 2015 season. You will see some changes in the junior membership this year. Memberships will include a Junior Tour Member gift, person- alized bag tag, Culver’s coupon & mem- bership card. Your membership gift will be based on how many years you have been a member. Gifts range from a sharpie marker set for new members in 2015 to a personalized headcover for members of 8 years. Look for pictures on the website soon of the gifts for each year of member- ship. The 2015 junior schedule is up on the website. We have added a few new events in the form of Girls Only tournaments. We are excited to team up with the WWSGA to run a Girls Match Play event on July 14- 15 at Horicon Hills and a Girls Only stroke play event on August 4 at SentryWorld. SentryWorld has been newly renovated and will re-open in 2015. When you in- clude the Sherri Steinhauer Girls Only event at Blackhawk CC we have a great schedule for girls to play. We will run four 36-hole Players Tour events this year. College players ages 21 and under can participate in these events. Junior Membership Corner

The 2015 Junior Membership went live on February 9th at 9am. You will be able to renew your membership from last year or register as a new member. You should have been emailed your login information from last year to help you login and renew. As a reminder, registration for Junior Tournaments will begin on April 2.

Junior Tour Players of the Year - 2014

Girls Player of the Year:

Mikayla Hauck

The WPGA Junior Foundation is pleased to an-

nounce Mikayla Hauck as the Junior Girls Player of

the Year for 2014. She won four times on the junior

tour schedule, had eight top five finishes and finished

3rd at Lake Arrowhead Invitational. Mikayla also made

a hole in one at the GolfTec Junior Championship on

her last hole to win her division with a score of 74.

She is 16 years old and from Cottage Grove.

Boys Player of the Year:

Kaylor Steger

The WPGA Junior Foundation is pleased to announce

Kaylor Steger as the Junior Boys Player of the Year

for 2014. Kaylor started his senior year off right by

winning the WIAA High School Division I state title.

He finished 2nd at the Junior Championship, won the

Junior Masters and finished 3rd at the WSGA State

Junior to claim player of the year honors. The Junior

Foundation had a record five boys reach the 1,000

point mark in 2014.

Future Tour Players of the Year—2014

Future Tour Girls Player of the

Year: Holly Murphy

The WPGA Junior Foundation is

pleased to announce Holly Murphy as

the Future Tour Girls Player of the

Year for 2014. Holly played in all 10

Future Tour events and finished with

two wins and in the top 5 another four

times. Holly dominated the points total

with 350 points. She is 13 and lives in

Lake Geneva. Runner-up to her was

Claudia Seeman with 230 points.

Future Tour Boys Player of

the Year: Jared Christensen

The WPGA Junior Foundation is

pleased to announce Jared Chris-

tensen as the Future Tour Boys

Player of the Year for 2014. His con-

sistent play on the Future Tour led

him to finish in the top ten in all but

one event and 6 top five finishes.

Jared is 14 and Sussex native. He

totaled 271 player points. Addison

Raimer finished runner-up with 222.

Aces Wild in Junior Events

The Junior Foundation had 7 hole in ones in 2014. Congratulations, Juniors!! We hope to see more Aces in 2015!

Back to Back for Team Wisconsin

The 17th Annual MN-WI PGA Junior Cup Match took place at Blackwolf Run & Whistling Straits on June 29-30, 2014. The first day of four-ball match play concluded with Team Minnesota leading 6.5 to 5.5. Day 2 of the Cup Matches was an awesome day for Team Wisconsin. Team WI won 13 singles matches to MN 11 to win the cup by a score of 18.5 to 17.5!!! It was a thrilling victory on a very difficult golf course. That makes two in a row for Team WI and they now lead the overall series 11-5-1.

We would like to thank Blackwolf Run & Whistling Straits for hosting last years event. The Junior Foundation would also like to thank the sales reps that donated tee gifts to each player. Thanks to Ted Robbins, Tom Cranwell, Michael Chase, Matt Flaten and Rob Hurab. The team consists of the top 12 boys and 12 girls in our great state of Wisconsin based on the WPGA Player of the Year points list.

2014 participants included Hallie Kent, Mikayla Hauck, Abby Martin, Maddie McCue, Abby Dufrane, Lauren Kluber-tanz, Grace Dunn, Abby Chase, Caroline Lake, Anika Hitt, Rebecca Klongland, Gabby Curtis, Steven Young, Hunter Eichhorn, Nate Thomson, Zach Nash, Jonah Buss, Ricky Kuiper, Christopher Colla, Matthew Bachmann, Trevor Thomas, Garrett Loomis, Charlie Maleki and Thomas Longbella. The team captain is Junior Tour Director Andy Landenberger.

Minnesota will host the 2015 Cup Matches on June 28-29. The host course will be StoneRidge GC in Stillwater, MN. The 2015 team will be announced in late March with letters sent to those who qualify for the team.

2015 Scholarship Application Online

Attention Parents/Juniors—The 2015 Scholarship application is available on our website. Look for it under the Membership tab then Scholarships. Last year we awarded eighteen individuals scholarships totaling $12,000. Please submit your application before the May 11th deadline. We have broken down the scholarship application into two categories. One is for High School Seniors and the other is for current College Students. Make sure to apply for the appropriate scholarship. More scholarship applications are available on our website for girls through the LPGA.

The Regional finals for the Drive, Chip and Putt competition were held on September 6th at the TPC Twin Cities in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Wisconsin was well represented with 14 boys and 15 girls competing. Emily Lauterbach, Hartland, won the 14-15 year old division of the girls competition with a score of 136 which was the 3rd highest score of the day including the boys divisions. Jessica Guiser, also from Hartland, captured the title in the girls 7-9 division with a score of 124. Good luck to Emily and Jessica at the finals in April at Augusta! The Junior Foundation, along with the WPGA, will be running 6 local qualifiers and 1 sub-regional Drive, Chip and Putt events in 2015. Winners from qualifiers advance to sub-regional and sub-regional winners advance to regionals at Medinah Country Club, IL. Winners at the regional advance to the finals at Augusta National in 2016.
