Liturgical Roles

We will not have Anointing of the Sick this Friday, July 5th. Join Deacon Steve for Evening Prayer and Benediction this Friday, July 5th at 5:45 pm in the Chapel.

Since Fridays are a traditional day of fast and abstinence, we invite you to offer prayers and sacri-fices for vocations to the priesthood and religious life on the First Friday of the month. This month we ask that you pray for those discerning vocations to the priesthood and religious life, that summer will be a fruitful time of discovering their call from God. St. Ann Vocations Ministry is inviting all

parishioners to pray for vocations. Signing up is easy. Visit www.stannpv.org/prayerforvocations and click on sign-up and select which weekend Mass works best.

Visiting Missionary July 6-7th

Meet Fr. Bhaskar (RAJ) Chinthamalla, a Salesian mission-ary from Guwahati, India. He is pastor of Our Lady Help of Christians as well as director of the Don Bosco Tech-nical School. The technical school was established to assist with vocational training for the marginalized youth of very poor families in Assam to work in a variety of trades: automotive, electrical, sewing and hospitality. He is also pastor of Mary Help of Christians Parish, which worships in a community chapel. They are in need of a church building that would serve as a worship center for the 455 people that live in the parish. Thank you for welcoming Fr. Raj warmly to St. Ann!

Salesian Missions is a US based, nonprofit, Catholic organization whose mission is to raise funds for interna-tional programs that serve youth and families in poor communities around the globe. These programs are run by Salesian missionaries—priests, brothers and sisters, as well as lay people in more than 130 countries. Fast facts: • More than 3 million youth are helped each year

• Programs and services are provided regardless of race or religion

• Salesians work in big cities as well as in remote corners of the globe forgotten by society

• When disaster strikes Salesians are among the first on the scene with relief supplies, housing and medical care

• The Salesians are regarded as the single largest provider of vocational training in the world.
