We had an amazing week at VBS! The kids had a great time, but the message of needing Jesus was shared!! There are SO many people to thank, and I could not have done it without each and every one of them! We had 108 kids and over 70 adult and youth helpers! These adults and youth were a "village of help" all week long!! And a spe-cial thanks to Linda Eason and her crew, for their preparation and hard

work Friday, Saturday and Sunday getting the hallway, rooms and Sanctuary decorat-

ed!! We love our "village" and church, and are so thankful for everyone and their willing-ness to serve as the body of Christ! Youth ~ Summer! VBS YOUTH HELPERS- A special thanks to all of the youth that helped with VBS, we absolutely could not have done it with out you! Like Mrs. Stephanie said, "It takes a village and a church!" and I'm glad that we have a great group of teens that were willing to serve! The youth that helped are: Katie Stewart, Georgia Torbert, Cammie Cochran, Mary Katherine Saratsiotis, Sam Pinnell, Hannah Mitchell, Rylan Youngdale, Madison Ellis, Parker Reeves, Leslie Anne Farr, Riley Mitchell, Sara Beth Storey, Morgan Min-ick, Lainey Collier, Tate Young, Kayla Hudgins, Addison Starlin, Faith Wiggins, Gray Torbert, Michael Hudgins, Freddie Updike, David Williams, Morgan Youngdale, Bella, Ally, Tracey, Faith, Lauren Williams, Franklin Hudgins and John Updike.

Wednesday 6/27- We will need a handful of youth to go with us and the kids on their "What if Wednesday" adventure to see The Incredibles 2. You will need to sign up with me on Sunday Morning. I will be able to let you know the time and cost then.

Summer Bible Study- Wednesday, June 27, 12-1:30 p.m. in The Foundry (Core Team members must attend).

Sunday School: We are studying a new series of lessons for the summer, Beginning Our Exciting Journey of Faith. These will be good lessons for us as we seek and are shown how we are supposed to be changed in our faith with Christ in our lives. We need to know this, especially with several new believers and recommitted youth in our group! Don't use summer as an excuse not to be here, get up and join us and I know that you'll be glad that you did!
