Church Family News and Concerns…
Summer Sack Lunch Volunteers who have signed up for our 2015 season, thank you! If you did not get your name on the list, there's still time! We will do our first prep on Wednesday evening, June 3rd, in
the basement following Bible Study. Our first delivery will be on Thursday June 4th. We also deliver sack lunches to the Ohio County Hospital each Monday and Thursday for the families of patients in the hospital.
The Anna Laura Duncan family would like to thank you for the many expressions of love shown throughout Mom's journey. We are so grateful
for your support; whether by prayers, cards, precious artwork, gifts, food, or simply hugs. Your kindness has touched our hearts deeply. God blessed us with a loving mother and a loving church family. We appreciate you more
than words could ever say. Sincerely, Debbie Jo Mayes & Family
Thank You so much for the love you have shown our family during the loss of Annabel Taylor. We appreciate the luncheon given by the church,
your phone calls, prayers, cards, memorials & words of comfort. Your kind expressions of sympathy will always be remembered by each of us.
Claude & Jan, Shelby & Judy, Louise and Families
We want to thank our church family for the kind thoughts, prayers, visits, food and support during the illness and loss of Charles Black. It is such a
comfort to know others are thinking of you and praying for you during a difficult time.
The family of Charles E. Black
Please pray for our 3rd - 6th grade students who will be attending the Mission Adventure camp June 11th - 13th in Princeton, KY. Pray
that our children will learn more about what it means to follow the example of Christ and
serve others with the love of Jesus.
June Meetings Update
If you are the parent of a child (whether youth or adult) who is struggling with addictive or behavioral issues, you need to know that you are not alone. Other parents in our congregation are walking that road—and a couple of those parents have felt a call from God to offer their support, encouragement and a listening ear to those facing similar challenges. Understanding the need for confidentiality and discretion, we invite anyone in our congregation or community who would benefit from that kind of support to let one of our ministry staff know and we will connect you with a friend who does not claim to have all the answers—but at least knows what it is like to face the problem.

Thank you for the food items you donated for the residents.

not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. - Jeremiah 29:11
FROM YOUR PASTOR:
This past Sunday (May 24, 2015) we began our summer Sunday worship schedule. During the summer months we will have Sunday school at 9 AM and a combined worship time at 10 AM. We anticipate that this summer
schedule will be a great opportunity to reconnect and celebrate together. However, the amended schedule might also provide some challenges with
parking, seating in the sanctuary, etc. Of course, these are "good problems" to have because it means that people are being exposed to the gospel. So, please be aware of the space issue. If you're a member, please park as far away from the building as possible to allow for guests and elderly people.
Also, consider sitting near the front to be sensitive to those who may be our guests, but who might be uncomfortable sitting near the front. Thanks! I am looking forward to an amazing summer! Please be sure to attend and bring
your friends.
