This month’s goal is to spend some time cleaning, decluttering and organizing your bed-room(s). Work through the list in one day or better yet, work on the tasks as you can throughout the month. My suggestion? Split it up and do a little bit as you can during the month.

LAUNDER YOUR BEDDINGTake the time to wash and freshen up your bedding this month. Most pillows and com-forters can be carefully laundered at home. If you don’t have a mattress pad and pillow covers on your pillows and mattress, put that on your list this month. It will cut down on dust and allergens.

MATTRESS FRESHENER• 1/4 cup of baking soda • 3-5 drops of essential oil Use a fine sieve/sifter to evenly dispense the mixture. LIGHTLY sprinkle over the mattressLet it sit for 30+ minutesVacuum it up using an attachment on your vacuum cleaner ( I use an upholstery attach-ment but you can also use the hose attachment – clean it before you use it and after you’ve used it!)

TAKE THE TIME TO ASSESS YOUR CLOTHINGJune is a great time to take a long look at your summer clothing and donate what you don’t think you’ll use this season. Make a list of any new items you need to add and enjoy a lighter closet. If you pack up your clothing in between seasons, do that this month as well. Use the capsule wardrobe worksheet included in this month’s packet to get started.
