The buffet will open at 11:45 A.M. and will feature a picnic theme, catered by Bunker's Bistro, including hot dogs, chicken salad, chips, watermelon, and ice cream for dessert. Due to observing improper treatment of our country's flag at various places around the community, the Sherwood Chamber Military Relations Committee has decided to take on the project of educating citizens on flag etiquette. FARMERS' MARKET COMING TO SHERWOOD...

The Cardinal Health Foundation awarded Hearts & Hooves $10,000 through its Essentials to Wellness Grant Program, a pro-gram aimed at improving health and wellness in communities where their employees live and work.

Sherwood's Economic Development Director, Kelly Coughlin, has announced that plans are in

the works for a Farmers' Market to be held on Thursday evenings during the summer in the lot

on the corner of Country Club Rd. and North Hills Blvd. (former bowling alley site). The events

will be managed by Keep Sherwood Beautiful. The first one is planned for Thursday, June 7,

5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Come out and join the Chamber, as well as our community, as we kick off

this exciting NEW venture!

Plan to attend the 2012 Fish Fry on June 28 at Sherwood Forest from 5:00-6:30 P.M. We'll have delicious food and great

door prizes! Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children aged 6-10, with children 5 and under free. Contact any board

member or call the Chamber office at 835-7600 to get your tickets.
