This is a great time of the year. Its the end of the school

year, the summer has arrived (at least officially on June 22nd), and

the weather allows us to enjoy the outdoors. Its also a time whenthings at the parish tend to slow down a bit until we ramp up againin September. Now that Confirmation has been celebrated, welook forward to the two weddings taking place next Saturday &then will enjoy the summer respite.

I do ask that you continue to remember in prayer all thesick & homebound members of the parish. I especially ask foryour prayers on behalf of Marilyn Reith who was recentlyhospitalized with pneumonia. May she & all of our parishionersfind healing & strength in Christ.

Since there is nothing else new for me to report, I inviteyou to join us in the Parish Hall this Sunday after the 9:00amMass for a Fathers Day Breakfast to be hosted by the Ladies

Guild (and I thank them for putting on a nice reception afterConfirmation last Sunday). Heres the Churchs prayer for Fatherson this day:

God our Father, in your wisdom and love you made all

things. Bless these men, that they may be strengthened asChristian fathers. Let the example of their faith and love shineforth. Grant that we, their sons and daughters, may honor themalways with a spirit of profound respect. Grant this through Christour Lord.
