TEACHER INDUCTION PROGRAM FOR BEGINNING TEACHERS IN PUBLIC

SCHOOLS

To: OIC-Assistant Schools Division Superintendent CID Focal Person SGOD Focal Person Education Program Supervisors School Heads (Public Elementary, JHS and SHS) All Others Concerned

1. This office announces the conduct of Teacher Induction Program (TIP) for beginningteachers in public schools (Elementary and Secondary) on July 8 and 15, 2017, from8:00 am to 5:00 pm. at Imus Pilot Elementary School.

2. The TIP aims to:a. acquaint newly-hired teachers on their duties and responsibilities as new members

ofDepEd;b. equip beginning teachers with higher professional perspective and teaching skills;c. strengthen the commitment of beginning teachers to public service.

3. There will be no registration fee to be collected. Funds for this purpose shall be chargedto the Human Resource Training and Development (HRTD) Fund subject to usualaccounting and auditing procedures.

4. The first meal to be served will be am snack.5. All teacher-participants are entitled to local service credit for 2 days. The management

staff from Schools Division Office are entitled to Compensatory Time Off (CTO) asper CSC and DBM joint circular No. 2, s. 2004.
