We sure did miss you all as we were on vacation. However, we did have a very good and relaxing time while away. It is a wonderful blessing to be able to spend time with our children and to grow as a family. We should all cherish such time and enjoy these rich blessings, because before you know it your kids grow up, move out of the house, and begin their own lives. I thank God for my wife and children, they are truly my greatest earthly treasure and gift from God! We had a good Lord’s day this past Sunday. It was good to have so many visitors with us. I also noticed that some of our own are still out or away on vacation as well. Let’s remember our family in prayer throughout the summer as we have many who travel and vacation. May God bless us all as we put Him first and as we enjoy the blessings of this life He has given us. Can you believe that we are in the final week of July? What in the world happens to time? Our lives just keep speeding by and hopefully we wake up and live every day to the fullest. I am constantly amazed at how fast the days go by. I’m sure it gets worse as you get older, but it’s hard to believe it could go much faster. Then you look back at life and you see that you have lived over half of your life or more and you think, “what have I done, what am I doing, or what do I need to do to make sure I am right with God.” Brethren, I hope we are using every day to show our love and commitment to God and to do those things which are found pleasing in His sight. We all know that there is nothing in this world worth losing our soul over, or worth giving in exchange for our soul. So, with that in mind let’s grow in God’s Word, enact His Truth in our lives, and strive to be the best Christians we can be as we live this blessing of life He has given us. Are you giving your best to God daily? Finally, let me encourage us all to remember Brent and those of this congregation who are involved in and wrapping up their camp session this week. I understand they have had a good week, but it no doubt has been a hot and tough one. Also, let me encourage you to know that there is a one- day lectureship this Saturday, in Belle, Missouri where Brandon Hall now preaches. I will be speaking in the afternoon, but if you are able to join in and grow as a Christian any that day, it certainly would be a great benefit for you. I wish we all took more advantage of such glorious opportunities. I hope to see you tonight at our midweek gathering. It is always wonderful and a great blessing to be together as God’s people. Also, remember to give God your very best on this coming Lord’s day. May God bless us all as we do His will and put Him first in all things! *Ray Sullins* THE LIVING WORD PROGRAM SUNDAY MORNING AT: 7:30 A.M. ELDER’S CORNER:

Hope everyone is staying cool and enjoying the

summer.

This past Lord’s day we had several visitors

attend our services. Some heard the T.V.

program, some visited our services on the

internet. We do appreciate those that come.

We need to keep our ones that are having

health problems in mind. Please pray for them

daily.

Please keep brother Jerry and sister Edith in

your prayers as they work in Africa. It will

sure be nice to have them back home.

Good to have brother Ray and family back

from their vacation.

This Sunday, being the 5th Sunday, we will be

having a Potluck dinner and have our P.M.

service at 1:30 P.M. Please plan on attending

and bring a basket full of your favorite food.

Beginning August 6th, our congregation will be

having Vacation Bible School. Please, please,

try to attend all classes. You will be filled with

the Word of God. Invite your friends and

neighbors.

We are proud of our young people here. They

visit and encourage some of the ones that are

unable to attend. These people love and look

forward to the visits.
