The Lakeland University Music Camp offers a fun-filled, educational experience for high school and middle school music students! At less

cost than many other week-long camps, The Lakeland University Music Camp offers so many opportunities:

■ Large ensembles

■ Daily sectionals with master teachers

■ Daily music theory classes

■ Camp Choir and Camp Band

■ Numerous elective choices

■ Nightly entertainment

■ High-quality faculty and staff

■ Great facilities on a beautiful campus

MAJOR PERFORMING ENSEMBLES ■ Bands: Grainger Band or Sousa Band

■ Choirs: Bach Choir (mixed) or Mozart Choir (treble)

■ Tchaikovsky Orchestra: violin, viola, cello, and double bass

■ Piano Ensembles: Liszt, Chopin

CAMP CHOIR & CAMP BANDAll campers participate in either the Large Camp Choir or Large Camp Band and perform with faculty and staff during the finale concert.

AUDITIONSOn the first day of camp, all campers participate in auditions to determine ensemble placement. Guidelines for appropriate audition material may be found on our website Lakeland.edu/MusicCamp.

ELIGIBILITYCampers with at least a year of music experience who are going into the sixth grade through high school graduates are eligible to attend.

TUITION DISCOUNTSStudents who are members of:

■ 2017 WSMA High School State Honors Band, Choir, Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble participants

■ Lakeshore Youth Chorale members

■ Sheboygan Youth Symphony members

■ Winners of the honors recital competition are eligible for a tuition discount, see our website for more information

2. If paying in full amount by credit card, complete online application and submit fees

3. If paying by check or submitting a partial payment (in the case of a scholarship from your school), print out paper application and submit via mail

IMPORTANT CAMP POLICIES ■ Resident campers must remain at camp for the entire week. ■ Resident campers may not check out and then return. ■ Commuter campers must be at camp from 8 a.m. until the end of the day’s activities

(approximately 9 p.m.).

CANCELLATION/REFUND SCHEDULEOn or before July 13 Refund less $100 administrative fee

July 14 – first day of camp Refund less $200 administrative fee

After first day of camp With written physician’s note,

pro-rated refund less $100 administrative fee.

No refunds without physician’s note.Refund issued only to original payer of fees. Refunds may take up to 3 weeks to complete.
