On display by the Welcome Desk

Highlighted this week: The Logic of Being

Catholic. Dr. Ray Guarendi shares how

logic led him home to the Catholic Church.

He found out that, contrary to his

Protestant misunderstandings, the Church is

coherent and never contradicts herself. Dr.

Ray explains how the answers to his objec-

tions to Catholicism were both Biblical and

believed by the earliest Christians. Explore

how logic led him to the fullness of truth.

Catholic CD’s in our Gathering Area

Gospel Question of the Week

Please take some time

today to discuss these

questions or reflect on

them in private prayer.

Catholic Camp: Jesus With Us Thank YOUS! A sincere thank you to all who in

any way helped make Catholic

Camp: Jesus with Us — a fun,

faith-filled week for the campers!

Thank you to all the campers who

participated and to their parents.

We pray that you not only had fun

and made some new friends; but that you also remember

Jesus loves you and is always with you!

Thanks to all the station leaders and helpers, camp counse-

lors, floaters, nursery staff, and set up and tear down crew

—over 95 fantastic volunteers of all ages. Catholic Camp

would not have been a success without you! Thanks to

Fr. Paul, Fr. Baker, Chuck Pratt, and all of the great Parish

and School Staff members who helped with Catholic Camp.

Thank you to all of the Parish members that spent many,

many hours tying rosaries for all of the campers at Catholic

Camp. A special thanks to Kelly Hayes for coordinating the

effort. The campers were so excited to receive their rosaries

and will treasure them for years to come!

A special thank you to Anne-Marie Leach, Krista Myhre,

Hazel Ward, Sarah Nguyen, and Beth Roesch

for the many, many hours of preparation, their strong

leadership during Catholic Camp and their selfless service

to God and His children. Have a fun and safe summer!

God Bless you all. Thanks again and see you next year!

Fr. Nicholas Froehle was our transitional

Deacon last summer, and he’ll be back at

St. Vincent de Paul next weekend to

celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving with us.

Come for Mass, and then stay to enjoy the

Parish Brunch afterwards. (see below)

Fr. Nick Froehle at St. Vincent’s

Keep Fr. Nick in your

prayers as he begins his

ministry as a priest!

The entire sale process from beginning to

end was quite a production, entailing over

430 volunteers; over 2000 hours; and over

50,000 donations! The bargains are what

keep our customers coming back year

after year. But it’s the BEYOND that keeps

our volunteers coming back. We are a

very effective and productive way of

building our faith community, a community

of people who are committed to others.

We are thankful to be part of such a

parish. —B & B Coordinators
