Calling all Parishioners � Volunteers and Help Needed at all Weekend Masses:�

We need lectors, altar servers, ushers, cleaners!�

As we continue to work through these changing and challenging times, we need to reassess our

Liturgical Ministries and their duties so that we may all continue to come together and cele-

brate Mass.�

�

As you are all aware, our Masses have slightly changed in some ways. �

There are no collection baskets passed during Mass. The baskets are located in front of the

altars and parishioners are expected to place their donations in the baskets provided.�

Eucharist is distributed only by Clergy and at the very end of Mass.�

The churches and pews need to be sanitized after every Mass to be ready for the next Mass.�

�

Because of these three changes, it has changed some of the duties of our ministers. Remember,

every volunteer and minister must have their Safe Environment Clearances. If you are interest-

ed in becoming a Liturgical Minister, please call our office and we will be happy to walk you

through this process.�

We still need Lectors to proclaim the Word. If you are able to continue this ministry, please

remember to sign up on the Ministry Scheduler. If you are interested in becoming a Lec-

tor, please call the Parish Office to be added to the list. You will be guided through the

proper steps.�

We continue to need Altar Servers at our Masses. If you are already on our list, please re-

member to sign up on the Ministry Scheduler. If you are interested in becoming an Altar

Server, please call the Parish Office.�

We continue to need Ushers, to do head counts at the Masses and we need two ushers to

stay at the end of each Mass to gather the money baskets and put them in the appropriate

tamper�evident bags, drop them in the safe and sign the appropriate sheets. We would

also like to begin having the ushers sign up for a Mass on the Ministry Scheduler.

Please contact the Parish office if you are interested in this ministry.�

At this time Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist are not being scheduled since only the

Presiders are distributing Eucharist at the end of Masses. This is a great opportunity for

those Ministers to sign up and get involved in another ministry.�

Cleaners and Sanitizers! We need to have 2�4 reliable people stay for 10 to 15 minutes after

Mass to sanitize the pews and to get our Lord’s house ready for the next group of wor-

shipers.�

Lastly, we pray that enough of our wonderful parishioners will step up and help in one or

more of these duties needed at this time. Our hope is we can get everyone accustomed to

these changes, using the Ministry Scheduler, and to sign up for one or more of these

ministries. Once you are on the schedule, you would be expected to initial the sign up

sheet for your particular Mass, located in the Sacristy.�

�

We realize, this long list of needs, instructions, and requirements may seem a little overwhelm-

ing, however, if we want to continue to gather as God’s people and celebrate together as a

Church Community, we should all share our gifts and talents to make this happen. If we can

not get enough volunteers, it will no longer be feasible to offer all of our weekend Masses.�

�

your heart strings to sign up and be a volunteer!�

If you would like to take Holy Communion home to a family

member who is s�ll not able to a1end Mass in person, there

are extra pyx located in the sacris�es of all three churches.
