Heavenly Father, Teach us that contentment consists not in great wealth, but in few wants. Help us to understand that it is only by serving others in Your name that we find love, peace, and joy in our faith. And now bless this food to our use and us to Your service. Amen

Finegan K Kids Kick Off MeetingFinegan K Kids Kick Off Meeting

CALENDARCALENDAR

Our Thanksgiving Dinner For Seniors will take place on Friday, November 18 at the Jacksonville Beach Senior Center at 6pm.

October 20

It was fantastic!!! For those of you who were unable to be there, you missed a great meeting of 32 very well behaved 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who will be the lead corps of Finegan's K-Kids for 2011 - 2012. The new leadership team from the faculty and the Kiwanians from our club did a really spectacular job covering the K-Kids Club, it's goals and objectives, Kiwanis, its history and mission, the projects ahead, and the nearly enough Munchkins the students gobbled up. Thanks for your support and enthusiasm. We will have a banner year.

Walt Pfeil

Walt Pfeil and Nancy Bernard talked about activities of our K Kids and Builders Club at both Finegan Elementary and Mayport Middle Schools.

Our club had a productive meeting as we discussed the upcoming fundraising event on October 29.

Joe Overby and Diana Coffman both celebrated birthdays this past week.
