SUMMER HOLIDAY HOME WORK

SESSION 2019-20 Class – II

Dear students! Summer holidays are approaching and holidays are supposed to be a

break from studies but don’t forget to revise all the concepts done regularly. So, kids enjoy your holidays with some fun filled activities. Gear up and utilize your time in the best possible manner. Let’s cheer for the 3R’s – Rejuvenation, Relaxation and Rebonding!

English 1. Prepare a story for ‘Story Narration Competition’ on the theme Bravery.

Also draw your favourite character from it on an A-4 sized pastel sheet. 2. Read an English newspaper every day. Pick up 10 new words and make a Pictionary by writing these words, their meaning and a picture related to them.

3. Make 30 words from the word “Grandparents” and write in your English grammar notebook. Also prepare a Thank You card for your grandparents. 4. Complete pages 1 to 30 in English Cursive Stroke Book. 5. Do worksheets.

Maths

1. Make a beautiful Wind Chime using 3-D shapes.

2. Write number from 1 to 500 in a thin separate notebook.

3. Make a pocket diary of tables 2 – 12. Front cover can be your

favourite animal or flower. Learn the tables.

4. Do worksheets.

ENVIRONMENTAL SENSITIVITY

1. Make a collage on different people who help us in daily life.

(A-3 size sheet)

2. Make beautiful and colourful flash cards on External &

Internal body parts.

COMPUTER

Make a colorful chart on Dos and Don’ts in the computer lab.

ART & CRAFT

Do the practice of drawing and colouring in a Sketch Book.

(For all the sections).

II-A Make a house using collage and decorative material.

II-B Make a fish aquarium using thumb printing. II-C Make a flower vase using pencil shavings. II-D Make a flower garden using pencil shavings.
