三島スカイウォーク
歩行者専用としては日本一の長さを誇る全長
400mの吊橋です。橋の上からは、富士山や駿河湾、美しい街並みなどの絶景を望むことができます。The longest
pedestrian suspension bridge in Japan with a total length of 400
meters. Magnifi cent views of Mt. Fuji and Suruga Bay can be
enjoyed from the bridge.

大室山
天城山側火山の一つで、すり鉢を伏せたようななだらかな山容。全山草に覆われ、頂上には直径
300m深さ70mの火口があります。山麓からリフトが運行され、山頂からは伊豆七島、富士山、箱根、天城の山々をパノラマのように見渡すことができます。A
gentle mountain like an upside-down earthenware mortar, one of the
volcanic mountains on the side of Amagi Mountains, covered with
mountain grasses with a crater of 300 meters in diameter and 70
meters in depth. You can take the climbing lift at the foot of the
mountain to fi nd panoramic views of Izu Seven Islands, Mt. Fuji,
Hakone and Amagi Mountains.

夏はラベンダー畑、秋は紅葉が湖畔を彩り、雄大な富士山とのコントラストを満喫できます。湖の中央に鵜の島と呼ばれる富士五湖唯一の島があり、弁財天が祀られています。Lavender
fi elds in summer, autumn leaves coloring the lakeside, you can
enjoy the contrast with magnifi cent Mt. Fuji. In the middle of the
lake there is the only island of Fuji Five Lakes called Unoshima,
Benzaiten is enshrined.
駿河国一宮で、富士山の八合目以上を境内地として所有する全国1300
余の浅間神社の総本宮として名高い神社です。本殿と拝殿を幣殿で結んだ浅間造りの社殿に、木花之佐久夜毘売命を祀っています。Famous
as the main shrine over 1,300 Sengen Shrines in Japan, this is the
foremost shrine of the Suruga area. The whole of Mt. Fuji above the
Eighth Stage makes up the precincts of this shrine. The
Sengen-style architecture, in which a connecting heiden hall is
found between the sanctuary (honden) and the worship hall (haiden),
enshrines the goddess Konohana Sakuyahime no Mikoto.

富士山や相模湾を一望できる「展望台」にある公園です。天気の良い日には、小田原城を見ることができます。また、富士山の隣に見える矢倉岳、金時山、明神ヶ岳などの足柄山が連なり大パノラマが楽しめます。大きなすべり台やハーブガーデンがあり、お散歩にもぴったりです。There
is an observatory in this park from which visitors can enjoy a
sweeping view of Mt. Fuji and Sagami Bay. On a sunny day, visitors
can see Odawara Castle and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding
Ashigara Mountains (including Yakuradake, Mt. Kintoki, and
Myojingatake). Along with a large slide and an herb garden, it is
the perfect place for a nice stroll.
曽我梅林は、別所、原、中河原の各梅林からなり、約 35000
本の白梅が植えられています。またこの地から見る富士山の眺めも素晴らしく、景勝にも優れた、関東屈指の梅林です。周辺には数多くの史跡もあります。The
Soga Bairin Plum Orchard (composed of the Bessho, Hara, and
Nakagawara Plum Orchards) has about 35,000 white-blossomed plum
trees. It is considered one of the best plum orchards in the Kanto
area. Visitors can enjoy a stunningly picturesque view of Mt. Fuji
here as well as numerous historic sites nearby.
Lake Ashinoko

約 3100 年前に水蒸気の爆発でできた周囲約
20ｋｍのカルデラ湖。周囲を箱根外輪山に囲まれ、四季折々に移ろう自然が美しく、南岸の元箱根から眺める逆さ富士は特に有名です。箱根観光の中心地となっています。This
caldera lake with an approximate circumference of 20 km was formed
from explosive releases of steam around 3,100 years ago. The
stunning natural scenery, surrounded by the outer peaks of Hakone
crater, transforms with the seasons. The lake is especially famed
for the refl ected image of Mt.Fuji seen from Moto-Hakone on the
south shore. This is the heart of sightseeing in Hakone!

現在の千円札に描かれている富士山を本栖湖北岸から見ることができます。逆さ富士などが見られる本栖湖の風景は、多くの芸術作品に使用されています。また、毎年春に開催される「富士芝桜まつり」は、多くの旅行者に人気です。You
can see Mt. Fuji drawn on the current 1,000 yen bill from the
northern coast of this main lake. The landscape of Lake Motosuko,
where inverted Fuji etc. can be seen, is used for many art
works.Also, “Shiba-sakura Festival（Moss Phlox）” to be held every
spring is popular with many travelers.
駿河湾フェリー（県道 223号）は、清水港と土肥港を65分間で結んでいます。海上から眺める雄大な富士山は絶景です。Suruga
Bay Ferry (route 223) connects Shimizu Port with Toi port in 65
minutes. Magnifi cent Mt. Fuji to look at from the ocean is a
superb view.
Lake Yamanakako
山中湖
富士五湖のうち富士山に一番近い湖であり、湖面の標高も富士五湖の中では最も高い位置にあります。冬には、結氷した湖の上でワカサギ釣りを楽しむことができます。It
is the closest lake to Mt. Fuji in Fuji Five Lakes, the altitude of
the lake surface is also the highest in Fuji Five Lakes. In winter,
you can enjoy fi shing on the frozen lake.

富士山と桜、忠霊塔が並ぶこの景観は、日本を代表する風景として、多くの外国人観光客で賑わっています。ここからは登山道を照らす光が見える夜景の富士山も楽しめます。This
scenery where Mt. Fuji, cherry blossoms, and Tombstone Tower are
lined is crowded with many foreign tourists as a landscape
representative of Japan. From here you can also enjoy Mt. Fuji at
night view where you can see the light that illuminates the
mountain path.
Ashigara Pass
足柄峠
標高759mの足柄峠からは、縄文時代や奈良・平安時代の土器片が採取され、古くから東国と西国を結ぶ交通の要衝として利用されていた事がうかがわれます。峠からの秀麗な富士山は、古来数々の歌人により詩歌に詠まれています。From
ashigara pass at an altitude of 759m, it is collected pottery
pieces of the Jomon period and Nara and Heian period, which
suggests it had been used as a strategic point of transportation
that connects the eastern provinces and Saigoku from ancient times.
Beautiful Mt. Fuji from the pass are poems in poetry by numerous
poets since ancient times.
