    1- A glimpse of history to Jordan:

    Throughout ages, Jordan has always been a strategic place to settle in; many civilizations

    have passed by, some were very remarkable and their presence is documented till now by

    the special monuments they left behind.Around 1,!! "# Jordan was divided into highly organized kingdoms. The most

    important were $oab, %dom and Amon. Then after !! "# Arabs called the &abateans

    migrated to Jordan. They developed a rich kingdom based on the trade routes through the

    area. Their capital was 'etra.

    (n 1!) A* Jordan became under the +oman rule where itcontinued to flourish and

    #hristianity spread.owever in the -th century Jordan was conuered by $uslims and

     became part of the (slamic /orld. 0or centuries Jordan continued its traditional role of

     being a trade route between other areas. Then in 11) it became part of the Turkish

    %mpire.

    (n June 11) a rebellion, The 2reat Arab +evolt began. 0inally in 113 Turkey was

    defeated by the allies. owever Jordan was not allowed to become independent. (n 141

    it was made a "ritish mandate. Abdullah the 0irst was made emir. owever Jordan finally

     became independent in 15) and Abdullah the 0irst became king.

    (n and around Amman there are many attractive places to visit, Amman #itadel, $ount

     &ebo, and The +oman theatre being the most prominent. An hour away from Amman lies

    Jerash; the city with the famous +oman remnants.

    5 minutes away from Amman is the lowest point on earth, the *ead 8ea.

    And (f we drive 5 hours to the south of Amman we can find Aaba 9the +ed 8ea:, 'etra  

    which is one of the 8even /onders of the /orld, and the most magical /adi +um.

     passion, it is simply composed of cooked yoghurt with meat and rice, and the outcome is
