What do you think of when you hearthe word ‘joy’? Perhaps it’s somethingwhich delights you, or how differentpeople respond when they are full ofjoy. I think of people dancing, jumping,singing, smiling and laughing.
There is a well-known phrase: 'Everycloud has a silver lining’. This versefrom 1 Thessalonians has a similartheme – in all times, in all places, it isimportant to be thankful for all goodthings and rejoice. This week, how canyou be joyful and help others todance, sing and smile?

Baking! Decorate biscuits (or something else equallyyummy!) with coloured sweets from different pots.Label each with a different characteristic from theverse 1 Thessalonians 5:12-18, that we would likeGod to help us with to remain joyful this week(peace, patience, thankfulness, helping others).
