DAY 1: LONDON
Arrive today in London. Meet your Tour Director upon passing
through customs. Depart for a walking tour of London including
The Strand, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, and Covent
Garden before checking into your hotel. A six day Tube pass
will be provided by your Tour Director. This evening enjoy dinner
in an English pub to try a traditional fish & chips dinner. (D)
DAY 2: LONDON
After a hearty English breakfast, morning sightseeing with a
Local Guide includes all the famous landmarks: the Houses of
Parliament and Big Ben beside the River Thames, Westminster
Abbey, Whitehall’s mounted horseguards and the Prime
Minister’s Downing Street, Piccadilly Circus, and Buckingham
Palace. Highlights are a visit to ST. PAUL’S CATHEDRAL
and the ceremonial pageantry of the Changing of the Guard,
if held. Dinner at Hard Rock Café followed by a THEATRE
PERFORMANCE. (B,D)
DAY 3: LONDON. OPTIONAL EXCURSION TO STONEHENGE & BATH.
Enjoy free time in London or join our full day optional excursion
to Stonehenge and Bath. Depart early this morning for
prehistoric Stonehenge. Unlock the secrets of Stonehenge for
yourself and marvel at this remarkable and mysterious feat of
ancient engineering and design. Depart for Bath, a beautiful
Georgian city and have plenty of time to explore at your leisure:
visit the Roman Baths, the Jane Austen Centre or take in some
afternoon tea. (B,D)
DAY 4: LONDON
This morning visit the 900 year-old TOWER OF LONDON.
Discover the Tower’s most famous prisoners and see the
famous Crown Jewels. The remainder of the day is yours to
enjoy at your leisure. Join our optional London Eye excursion
or experience the dark side of London with the Jack the Ripper
optional excursion. (B,D)
DAY 5: LONDON. OPTIONAL EXCURSION TO WARWICK CASTLE, STRATFORD-UPON-AVON
Enjoy free time in London or join our full day optional excursion
to Stratford. Marvel at mighty Warwick Castle before driving
on to Stratford-upon-Avon to visit the birthplace of William
Shakespeare.
DAY 6: LONDON
Experience the BRITISH MUSEUM’S unique collection of
seven million objects representing the rich history of human
cultures. In no other museum can you see so clearly the history
of what it is to be human. This afternoon enjoy some time at
leisure to pick up any last minute souvenirs. Reunite with your
fellow traveling companions tonight to bid farewell to London
with a MEDIEVAL BANQUET. (B,D)
DAY 7: DEPART FOR HOME
