• Most people in Jordan practice Islam.• There are a tiny bit of Christians.• About 95% of Jordan’s people are Muslims.

People in Jordan

• There are about 3 million people in Jordan• Most cities populations are about 5,000

people• Some cities have more than 100,000 people

Where Jordan is located

• Jordan borders Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, & Israel

• Jordan also borders the Palestinian Territory of the West Bank

• The Jordan River stretches out along way. A long time ago Jordan had lots of Invaders.

• People have lived in Jordan for more than 200,000 years.

Animals

• Some of Jordan’s animals are… Wild boars, hares, jackals, foxes, wildcats, hyenas, wolves, mongooses, and gazelles.

Languages• Jordan’s offical language is Arabic• English is taught and known• The Government prints many documents in

English and Arabic
