Joomla(CMS)

Installation :

1. Install wamp server 2.2 and click on the wamp icon so it starts.

2. In browser, type the following link

Then click on the following linkDownload [ 1.7.1 ] :http://joomlacode.org/gf/download/frsrelease/15752/68389/Joomla_1.7.1-Stable-Full_Package.zip4. Joomla_1.7.1-Stable-Full_Package(zip file) gets downloaded in the following folder.C:\Documents and Settings\admin\My Documents\Downloads5. unzip it and the folder of the same name gets created.

6. Rename it as joomla7. Copy joomla folder and paste it in c:\wamp\www.8. open browser and type URL as http://localhost9. At the middle of the page, Joomla link will be there, click on that link and go through the steps.

After installation, open browser and type the URL http://localhost/joomla/administrator

Enter your username and password you have given while installation and you will be on the Administrator page.
