chapter one

In chapter one a bulletin board fell on Stanley.But Stanley was ok but he was flat. His parents Took him to the doctor right away. So Dr. Dan said how do you feel? Stanley said that he felt ticklish when the bulletin board fell on him but now he feels fine. Docter Dan said we have to keep an eye on this fellow. Sometimes all of are training is as little we know. Stanley was four feet tall and a half inch thick.

In chapter two Flat Stanley could squeeze under doors. Flat Stanley went on a walk with his mom and her favorite ring fell off. He took his shoe laces and tied them together. He tied one end to his belt and gave the other to his mom. Stanley went down between the bars and found the ring. Flat Stanley squeezed inside a big envelope to California and back.

In chapter three one day Flat Stanley, Arthur and his dad met Mr. Jones. Arthur was jealous of Stanley. One night, Arthur got up and went to a bookcase and piled many volumes of the Encyclopedia Britannica on top of himself. Arthur wanted to be flat too. Arthur wished he could fly a big kite. Stanley said, you can fly me Arthur. Then Stanley went up in the sky. When two boys invited Arthur for a hot dog and a soda, he dropped Stanley.

In chapter four Mr. Dart told Mr.Lamchop that his paintings where being stolen from the Museum. Flat Stanley heard them talking and he had an idea. They went to the Museum and Mr. Dart gave Stanley a shepherdess disguise. Stanley climbed up into the empty picture frame. A few hours later, Stanley heard a noise. Stanley yelled, police! Mr. Dart! the sneak thieves are here! The police came in and took them to jail.

In chapter five, Flat Stanley was sad because his friends did not like him flat. Stanley was tired of being flat. Then, his brother Arthur took out a bicycle pump. He put it in Stanley’s mouth and pumped him up. Stanley was not flat anymore. Everyone in the family was happy and they celebrated with hot chocolate.
