Dear Colleague, We are pleased to announce the 12th Symposium on Joint Preserving and Minimally Invasive Surgery of the Hip to be held June 15 - 17, 2017 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. We’ve developed a symposium dedicated to a scientific and practice oriented discussion of current topics and controversies in treating the young adult with hip pain. The first day of the program will include didactic presentations, as well as a cadaveric skills lab to allow participants a chance to practice the techniques covered. Sub-sequent days will be held in conjunction with the Canadian Orthopaedic Association’s Annual Conference and will feature hip focused paper sessions throughout their program. Topics discussed will be Hip Arthroscopy; Femoro Acetabular Impingement (FAI) / Dysplasia; Hip Resurfacing, less invasive hip replacement surgery as well as expert panels to discuss updates on bearing surfaces, dual mobility and large ceramic heads. Our hope is that participants can take full advantage of this year’s partnership between the Hip Symposium and COA Conference. In past years, the Hip Symposium has had tremendously successful attendance with participants from over 15 countries around the globe. More importantly, this symposium has generated over 100 peer-reviewed publications in major orthopedic journals: Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, Clinical Orthopedics and Related Research, Journal of Arthroplasty and Orthopaedic Clinics of North America. The COA Conference expects to host over 400 Orthopaedic Surgeons and other health care professionals. We look forward to building on the success of these symposiums and expect another great symposium for our 12th anniversary event. By signing this agreement, we are responsible for the amount of our selected sponsorship in exchange for the opportunities listed in the conference invitation letter. We understand that we cannot forfeit on our support once this agreement is signed. A signed agreement and payment must be received before the conference in order to ensure that name badges are ready for your company.
