JIEE – States First, Mission Partners Always

• The National Guard Bureau has the responsibility of coordinating with state National Guard JoCC’s as they support their state civilian leadership in response to natural and man-made disasters (among other missions).

• #1 - JIEE facilitates information sharing within the National Guard (state to state) as a whole.

JIEE – Operational Imperatives

• ACCESS: Ensuring access across the mission environment and response levels (incident area, state, national) to critical event-related information.

• RFI/RFA: Supporting Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Assistance (RFA) and other adaptive battle staff processes.

• TRAINING: Enabling a training environment to support scenario-based use of tools in context of Standard Operating Procedures and military decision making process (MDMP).

• SITUATIONAL AWARENESS: Supporting the building and sharing of a National Guard Common Operational Picture, in coordination with states and mission partners to support decision making (Events, Assets, Actions, Environment). )

• NG ASSET COORDINATION: Support during an incident response.JIEE will continue to leverage and support netcentric integration

Based on Core Group, utilizing a Common Layer Set (CLS) and Icon Building:Icon Building:
