Join the Town in commemorating the centenary of ANZAC Day Victoria Park RSL Memorial Wall Project The Town supports the new Memorial Wall at the Victoria Park RSL Sub Branch which commemorates those who were born or lived in the Town of Victoria Park at the time they volunteered / enlisted for service during WW1. Victoria Park RSL ANZAC Eve Service Friday, 24 April 2015, 5.45 – 8pm 1 Fred Bell Parade, East Victoria Park The Town is partnering with the Victoria Park RSL Sub Branch to deliver its ANZAC Eve service. The service will be special this year with the unveiling and dedication of the Memorial Wall, and vintage food stalls and a pop-up cinema. ANZAC Day Dawn Service Saturday, 25 April 2015, 6am Memorial Gardens, cnr Harvey St and Albany Hwy Join the Town for a special ANZAC Day Dawn Service as we commemorate 100 years of ANZAC. WWI Roll of Honour A special printed brochure featuring the names of those from the Town who lost their lives in World War One will be distributed to attendees at the Victoria Park RSL’s ANZAC Eve service and the Town’s ANZAC Day Dawn Service. ANZAC Centenary Library Display from Tuesday, 7 April 2015 The Library will feature a static display of stories, books and memorabilia relevant to WW1 in the lead up to ANZAC Day. ANZAC Centenary Street Banners Commemorative ANZAC Centenary street banners are installed along Albany Highway. These will be on display for several weeks leading up to ANZAC Day each year until 2018.
